After that, Blizzard gave us a new Heavy Metal wolf.
Nearly one year ago today, Blizz tempted us with a spectral bear Spirit Beast – AKA awesome-incarnate.
Deathwing’s coming, and he’s about to rip Azeroth a new one! In addition to his arrival, we’ll also see a few changes to the hunter class with this new patch, the most notable of these being… Beginning tomorrow, humans and undead will be added to the list of playable races for the hunter class! South Park first prophesied this change …
While I’ve been busy messing with my UI the past few weeks, one of the things I’ve been doing is casually looking for Arcturis. Basically, I’d sit at Amberpine Lodge tinkering with my settings, queueing BGs, then hoping to catch Arcturis after one of my BGs was over. Needless to say, there was nearly always at least one hunter parked there, with a handful more passing through off and on.
With Deathwing preparing to tear Azeroth asunder in just a few short weeks, now is a great time to venture out and snatch up any rare pets you’ve been thinking about taming. Once Cataclysm hits, it’s possible some of them may not be around anymore. Certain one-of-a-kind pets like Araga and Strider Clutchmother may be on the verge of extinction, as well as quite a few other unusual and/or rare spawn pets.
The other thing to keep in mind is that the world of Azeroth as we know it will be changing forever. The next few weeks can be a nice opportunity to take it easy, go hunting for some pets, and see the world. We’ve got two dozen available slots now and a lot of new special pet abilities to play with… go have some fun.

Ghostcrawler has apparently been spotted on the beta realms in the southwest waters of Vash’jir. …and he’s packing his Nerfbat in the event any courageous adventurers dare try to tangle with him. This cracks me up. Initially I thought this to be a joke, but now I’m not so sure. I mean it could just be an Easter Egg goof …
