Memorable WoW Moments: Cenarion War Hippogryph

I was never much of an auction house “player” or gold farmer, so finally amassing enough G to afford the Cenarion War Hippogryph was quite the accomplishment. This was one of the mounts that I really, really wanted, but figured I’d never be rich enough to afford back in the day. Once Blizz changed things so that PvP became a financially lucrative endeavor, fortune smiled upon me. 😉

It’s still my favorite flying mount. 🙂

  1. The Sky Golem is my favorite. Took me what seemed forever to gather the mats to make the sucker. Ranking right up there is the Swift Zulian Tiger. I ran the original Zul’gurub till I was blue in the face to finally get it to drop for me. I beat a guildie by one point on a roll for it.

    • The Sky Golem is freakin sweet. I have no idea what it costs to craft, but I imagine it’s ‘spensive. Grats on the Swift Zulian Tiger. Riding that means you’re an OG.

I don’t see that one too often, and I never had a chance at it myself. Only time I ever entered the original ZG was to solo-tame one of the Sons of Hakkar, which I’ll probably mention in one of my future WoW Moments posts.
