I think I’m about ready.
Distancing myself from the blog and the game has done me a lot of good. I conquered some additional workload, enjoyed the holidays, and have successfully lowered my stress level to a comfortably manageable place.
Since I’m in a more relaxed state now, and feel like I can put in a few hours per week; both to the game and the blog – I’m good to go.
Level 85… here I come!
Don’t expect me there right away though. I doubt this journey will happen overnight. 😉
The scene above features one of my favorite locations in the game. Prior to tonight, I was never able to access it.
I have a feeling this expansion is going to be pretty fun.
For those of you wondering what happened with my rogue… well, he’s sitting at 44 right now. He’s been a blast to play, and I feel like I’ve made a pretty decent rogue, but it’s time to start enjoying the game to its full potential. 😉
I’ll most likely return to my rogue now and again, but I need to get back to huntering!
My bags are all but empty… my quest log’s clear… I purchased my Flight Master’s License…Â I’m ready to roll.
I may be a little late to the Cataclysm party, but the wait has been worth it. Now I can enjoy myself. 😀
Welcome back Garwulf , this from a noob who took 7 mos off. Have fun and I’m sure you’ll keep it in perspective.
Agio
Yea man. I’ve always tried to keep things in perspective. I never “force” myself to play, but I have often forced myself to post on here.
Truth be told, I hadn’t really played much since about August, but I was struggling to maintain the site. Backing away from both, all but completely for nearly a month, helped me to gain a fresh new perspective.
I want to return to being a helpful guy who offers, guides, tips, etc… but I’m going to re-strategize how I deliver those goods.
Between offering UI support and answering build questions and other inquiries, I ended up spending waaay too much time with all of this.
You did good Gar! RL > WoW. Always.
But I’m glad your back!
Yep. Me too. =)
The great thing about waiting until now to start is that you do not have to worry about being ganked nearly as much as when the content started and it makes it alot easier to quest. i leveled my hunter in the beginning and seemed to always looking ove my shoulder but as i level my priest i do not seem to have near the problems. i am actually enjoying the areas a little more now. so good luck and have fun
yag
I just stepped into Mt. Hyjal for my first time yesterday and was ganked within 10 minutes, lol. Guess my luck isn’t as good as yours, yagenaud.
Have fun Garwulf, welcome back for now!
Ah… the fun and excitement of a PvP server.
Had I to do it all over again, I would probably have rolled Garwulf on a PvP server.
It makes it exciting, yet it can be annoying. I’d still play PvP over Normal and day though.
Welcome back!
im 85 and pretty bored with cata atm, just waiting for the next patch to fix things up.
Bored with Cata..?! But there’s so much to see and do.
Seems like anyway.
Welcome back! I hope you enjoy every minute of it.
I’m still stuck on semi-hiatus while trying to obtain enough money to fix my computer, so I’m a bit jealous!
Oh bummer. Hopefully you get your computer back in prime condition very soon. 🙂
