This is entry #13 in theΒ 30 days of WarCraft series of articles.
When I first started playing I was definitely for the alliance. Since that time I’ve seen the game from the horde perspective as well.
I don’t really have a preference, to tell you the truth. Alliance… Horde… it’s all the same for me. I’ll fight for either side with equal vigor.
I am for hunters. My loyalty belongs to the class – regardless of faction.
But I can tell you this… were I to start playing the game today, knowing what I know now, I’d probably roll horde. π
Horde. Tauren FTW.
Nothing says big and huggable like 200lbs of lean beef. With a gun. =)
I’ve always played Alliance because of Night Elves. My main since Wrath is a Night Elf Hunter and when I played back in Vanilla I had a Night Elf rogue. I’ve always like elves. If I rolled a Horde, it’d probably be a Blood Elf.
All I read was “I’m for horde – Garwulf” π
Horde all the way! I was trying Alliance but everything is just so bright. And goblins are way cuter than gnomes.
“And goblins are way cuter than gnomes.”
LIES!
Goblins are also WAY smarter.
lawman – don’t make me bring my pigtails over to teach you a lesson! π
Horde all the way baby! Horde have trolls and now goblins. Troll lore is a big fascination of mine which is why “Takaas” started out as troll. With Cata came goblins and my race switch. I still love troll lore, but find goblins interesting to play.
Alliance. Gnomes fight for the Alliance and I fight for the Gnomes.
I did roll a Horde hunter on my server, though, since the Horde DOMINATES PvP zones such as WG and TB. Makes getting a crack at the VoA/BH bosses faaaaaar easier. =P
I’m with you: I could care less about the faction vs. faction underpinnings of World of Warcraft. Besides, there are enough world-threatening villains that opposite factions really aren’t even needed, especially now with same-faction PvP.
