…logged in, checked my mail, vendored my ammo, visited the trainer, did up some interim talents and whacked on a target dummy for about three minutes. That was about it.
I honestly hadn’t planned on bothering with 4.0.1 until I had some time to devote to it, but I decided to get on and make sure my UI wasn’t totally FUBAR after the patch.
SatrinaBuffFrame appears to be totally borked, but apart from it, I experienced no other real issues aside from some minor cosmetic problems. Until I get some time to update and revise things a bit for the focus-era, those of you using the UI may want to rely on the unit frames (/suf) for your buff icons.
That’s about it for now…
I hope to get some Patch 4.0.1 info up as soon as I figure out what the hell I’m doing. The last two months have been crazy; leaving me with almost no time for huntering. Once I get sorted out and have some spare time, you can bet I’ll be desperately trying to get up to speed with the rest of you all.
In the meantime, don’t bother with my armory if you’re looking for advice or suggestions… I’ll be in a perpetual state of trial and error for awhile, I’m sure.
Until I get a chance to post my findings and suggestions, here are some links to check out:
PvP Builds: 4.0.1 Spec thread at ArenaJunkies
Pet goodness: Darkbrew’s post on pets in 4.0.1
Those are just a couple of good resources I came across in my travels today.
Anyway… I’m pretty excited about this new patch, but it may be some time before I’m able to explore it. I’ll keep you updated. 🙂
