I think I'm happy with what I have. Here they are:
1. King Krush – named Yoshí
2. The Beast – pre-patch tamed
3. Loque'nahak – my first Spirit Beast
4.Oil-Stained Wolf – tamed for the challenge
5. (Ashtail)
6. Skoll – re-tamed, skin's 'skoll 
7. Arcturis – was the 2nd guy to tame him in our server
8. Gondria – got him after Loque
9. Rak'shiri – nice blue/white skin
10. Echeyakee – Horde quest!
11. Olm the Wise – had to be “at war” with the Cenarion Circle
12. Ghost Jormungar – surprised they're tameable
13. Ghost Saber – had him ages ago. Went back and got him on the first try.
14. Terror Spinner – only rare elite spider
15. Zaricotl – wanted Barnabus but kept on seeing this rare elite instead
16. King Mosh – technically Krush 1.0
17. Mazzranache – pink flamingo
18. Prairie Wolf – barks!
19. Sentry Worg – color-changing worg
20. Old Cliff Jumper – first named wolf I camped for when I went pre-patch SV
21. Grunter – trained because skin might change in Cataclysm
22. Scalebeard – rare. elite. turtle.
23. Aotona – just had to get them all at the Basin
24. Lapress – there's a rare elite silithid?
25. Humar the Pridelord – one of the first named pets I became aware of, had to come back for him!

Wow – where did you find your Jorumungar?
I want to write an addon that summons a random pet from your stable, similar to gogomount now. I love what you did with your pet tames. Really cool, and congrats!
My tames have been hit or miss. I just haven't had much time to play lately, although I managed to run ToC last night. it was funny putting the group together with all the new buffs.

Thanks everyone! I really had fun hunting these pets — sometimes more fun than having repetitive raids. It's hard to explain to non-hunters but fellow hunters like you would understand…
@Niika – Get the Sons of Hodir quest: Feeding Angrim. Once you summon the Disembodied Jormungar, tame away! Would love to beta test/try your addon. I know what you mean about the buffs — some surprised me like Lapress: +1485 Stamina to everyone. I didn't know Silithids can do that.

Way to go Anj!
I've been having some fun with the new stable, but have only managed to add 5 additional pets so far. Your collection there is quite impressive.
So far, I've nabbed: Skoll, Uhk'loc, Tallstrider Clutchmother, Snort the Heckler and Silithid Ravager.
I noticed you had Humar on your list… I want him too, for sentimental reasons mainly. Same goes for Broken Tooth. Humar's skin may not be a one-of-a-kind anymore, and BT may not be the cat he once was, but they were a couple of my favorite pets back in the day.

Gar, makes me smile when you go all emo-sentimental on the pets. It's cute.
Anj, I have no time to play, let alone write an add-on. It's just another idea that bounces through my head, keeping me awake at night, when i could be, ya know… actually sleeping. I have a few of those up there, tucked away to torture me at 3am.
Also, I did that quest, so will have to find someone who's not done it yet. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks Niika! I'm excited, I decided to just power through and get and then go back and do everything I'm wanting to do. I love being now, plus I can start doing heroics which is awesome and I'm loving, got my first piece of tier 9 last night, so things are good!

Does Lapress actually give 1485 stamina? I know Silithids have a sta buff, but I had no clue it was that much.

Does Lapress actually give 1485 stamina? I know Silithids have a sta buff, but I had no clue it was that much.
Hmm… come to think of it, that's way too much Stamina. I checked and it was a strange typo. The pet talent says it give 145 stamina but the actual buff says it's 165. Definitely a bug! (pun intended).
Btw, it's called Qiraji Fortitude.

Right now I'm so busy with loremaster I haven't spent any time working on my new stable. It's still just Kiara- Echo and Saleen. I will get to it some day soon though!

Celika, pretty damn sure you are raiding more than the rest of us too, and are comfortable in the new role of Hunter. Everything is a trade off, and the stable will fill. I think i'm going to wait on mine until after Cat hits. I just don't have time either, and envy Anj for his persistence.
Anj, I read a tip that states you should tame the level 79 to retain Ghost Form. is that what you did?

To be honest, I didn't check the level. I can find a lower level one (are there lower level ones?) and will report back
UPDATE: Niika, I tamed the level 79 and Roaming Jormungars. Both retain their disembodied state when tamed

Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one here who's been going on a taming frenzy. I'm pretty pleased with my stable so far, but I have two more that I absolutely MUST find before Cata hits. Mostly rares, but a few unique skins that I just like. I need King Krush and Aotona before I'll be satisfied, so I've been stalking Sholazar like crazy. I saw some folks talking about Old Cliff Jumper, so he's on my list now, too.

Malza, your stable looks familiar to mine. Wish I had the grimtotem, but looking forward to the new ghosts in cata.
Anj, I got the ghost jorumungar. Can't SEE the damn thing in a raid. it's like projectile vomiting out of no where, kind of like a scary frat party gone bad. Pretty humorous!

My stable isn't quite as impressive. I've spent most of my time PvPing since the patch, but here is my current list. The top two are my personal favorites. All of my pets get name changes as well.

My stable is lame.
1. White Bat named Beuford, quickly becoming my favorite pet in PvP.
2. Frostsaber Pride Watcher named Chet – love this tiger when he is not in stealth. Glows purple in dungeons.
3. Red Ember Wolf named Snitpooter
I need to spend some time this weekend taming it looks like.
