My Hunter hit 53 last night. I promptly dropped my Humar the Pridelord Pet off at the stable and headed straight for Un'Goro Crater to hunt for my all time favorite pet in the game, Uhk'loc. I am currently camped in the cave where he spawns. I am getting good practice soloing U'cha til lhe pops.
This will be my second go arounf with Uhk'loc, over three years ago before I took my extended break from WoW I had him as a pet. He really is a great pet looks good, and tanks good.
The only question that remains is, What will I name hime once I tame him? I am considering “Avalanche” But I am open to suggestions.

What kind of name are you looking for? I was looking for the name of the white demon that rumored to inhabit the south pole, but can't find it. I have a habit of naming my pets after goddesses, or beloved live pets of my own. Except that one time, when I named one of my cats after a good friend, and every time I moused over here, her gear score and 'gear' would come up. Funny seeing a saber sporting a Belt of the Night Raven…

I like avalanche, good “white” pet name. What about Vanilla Thunder in honor of his thunder stomp! I like Niikas idea too, I do the same thing with pets, try and give them a “god” name, but now my devilsaur is named The Duke….I dunno why, it just happened.
Or what about The yeti, or Abominable SnowApe, although since he technically came from the jungle a snow name might not work, maybe he’s albino and not snow proof. Instead of GrapeApe, maybe CoconutApe, or AlbinoKong. Whatever you name him be sure and keep him covered in a strong SPF lotion or he will soon turn into a red ape! Happy hunting! Nothing better than goin after a pet you really want, exciting!!

I named my Humar “SimbaKivuli” that is “Shadow Lion” in Swahili.
Maybe “NyeupeUmeme” that is “White Lightning” in Swahili.
On an Africa kick apparently.

heheheee I love White Lightening. How about naming it “Cachaca” after the Brazilian “white lightening” (a powerful alchohol made from sugar cane, nicknamed that? Talk about abstract…)

😀 it just covered a lot of bases, it was neat to see it fit.
The image is awesome. Your proportions are great. When I draw digitally, i have the *hardest * time with making things fit. I have no spacial perception unless there's a piece of wood in my hand (Drach, do NOT go there.) I keep seeing a tankard in there though, but I am pretty sure that that is Wulf's fault, for I now cannot imagine dwarves without a flask of some sort.
…i need to work and stop daydreaming today.

Thanks for the comments it still has a long way to go before being finished. I'll be sure to post whenit's done. Tankard is a good idea, but actually I am going to do some fx rendering of the tame beast spell with the little hearts floating up and away form his hand. And I am going to call the piece “The Pet Whisperer”

Kor… tell me that you are layering and not working on the actual main frame? Those floaty hearts are the bane of my little designer heart. I'd much rather see something a bit more surreal in his hand, than the floaty pink hearts from the ability. And you won't run the risk of some un-hunter thinking 'wow, is he into bestiality or something?'
