I was just at Un'Goro Crater looking for King Mosh. He wasn't there but the other devilsaurs were. To my surprise, they were easy tames.
Devilsaurs are the new wolves… looks like their now as easy to train as wolves too. Of course, the only problem is *if* you could find King Krush or King Mosh that easily…

Seems that with the new tame cast time shortened too, tames will be much easier too. Solo taming Krush shouldn't be all that difficult now, especially with some good haste gear…the hard part like you said will be finding him.

Drach, same goes true with the other rare/elite pets. It seems like all the BM hunters in my server at least are after them. Finding the pets is much more difficult than I've anticipated!

I've been hunting Krush for a week now (I'm about to Log now) and for the first time I see him this morning, a player in the same area saw my message's asking whether anyone had spotted him at all. He partied up with me tried his best to hold anyone off but a bastard Horde swooped in on him and then left without even looting…
I couldn't explain my anger lol

That sucks Deantown. I know it's easier said than done but — “Don't give up!” (Here in our server, we have the worst kind – a pally who enjoys killing rares, especially if she sees a hunter taming them!)
Btw, I finally found King Mosh. As expected, it was a fast, easy tame. He didn't even have time to cast Terrifying Roar — I didn't even buff up.

Now that I finally got my full BM point tree back I went in search of one of these beauties the other day….WOW I love my devilsaur ! After I got him I went questing near Utgarde and he rocks! While trying to get to the keep to turn in a quest I got dinged by one of the Vyrkul and the fight was on. The Vyrkul and worgen just kept coming and he just kept on going, his health bar barely moved! If I hadnt died he would have kept on going…and going. Today I'm going to try him our in a BG, took him through a few instances last night and he was awesome. I have to say these guys are well worth tracking and taming, elite or otherwise. Got Chimaera too, love him but devilsaur wins hands down.

King Mosh, King Dred, King Krush tamed! The hard part definitely is finding them all… (King Dred of course, is always there — but remember, the heroic King Dred is not tameable!)

Today, I went a hunting, and Devilsaur was my game. I tracked, I lurked, I hid, I killed anything I could just so the scent of frsh blood was in the air. And then, out of the corner of my eye… he was there. A lovely great hulking snow white devilsaur…. come to papa!
Now, he is a level 54 elite, and I am (late to join the devilsaur bandwagon) level 61….
There's his path… follow, follow… ahh, he's turning… freezing trap… wait…. wait…. deployed! One step, two step, and kabang, devilsaur popsicle… dig into my knapsack, rummage around … where is that taming rod? Ahh, here it is….
“Creature can not be tamed.”
WTF???
I know you guys have devilsaurs… please tell me when I get my 31 point Beast Mastery I'll be able to come back and get my devilsaur, too.

Cheer's for the sympathy guy's. I haven't given up and since my first encounter I still have never come across him let alone any of the other rare elites in the are…and exactly what you say Anj I won't be giving up any time soon!

Yea, if you're not a BM with the ability to tame exotics you can't tame the Devilsaurs, so once you get your dual talent and unlock the tame exotic ability, then you can go and stalk down one of these bad boys.
I myself just got the Lord of the Devilsaur's, Mr. King Krush 
. It was a lot easier, or I'm just badass…I tend to go with the latter. He feared me right of the bat, and then I was like, oh no you didn't and put the tame on him good!

Yea, I'm pumped but it's weird, I really wanted Krush, but I figured he was down my list a little bit, so it was kind of anti-climatic taming him. I know it's probably because I've been hunting this S of a B named Skoll and have yet to see him, and am getting fed up with the Storm Peaks zone, it ain't no Grizzly Hills that's for sure. So I wasn't even hunting him or anything, I was doing Oracle dailies to get the egg that hopefully hatches a proto-drake, and boom there he was, and so I guess I'm pumped, but it's a weird excited because it just happened and I didn't have to hunt him if all that jibber jabba makes sense.
Oh, and if any of you guys that have Skoll have any tips or advice for me…I'm all tentacles.

I've tamed him twice, helped a guildie get him once, and have seen him probably 6 times total.
The spawn rate seems odd, as all of my sightings have occurred between say 9:30-10pm PST, then again at 1:30-2:30am PST. I always saw him not long after finishing a raid, and sometimes just before logging.
Most sightings were at the gas cap near Brunnhildar – seen him there three times, twice at Bor's Breath and once at Snowdrift.
Early AM hours seem to be a reliable time, but that may just be due to lack of competition at that time.

Thanks Gar, I just can't get a bead on this guy, he must have a weird spawn rate and time. I usually start by the ninja turtle sewer entrance, and wait a while at the top and half of the hours, then do a fly around to the others. I've been at it early in the morning, afternoon, evening, and even fairly late and have never seen him. I've seen Vyragosa three times, and killed him once, I feel like I'm more likely to see the TLPD than I am Skoll at this point. It's a matter of pride now, I have to have him and then make him sit in the stable for a while and think about what he has done.

Skoll is the only SB that I want, until Ghostcrawler makes an appearance and I will be rushing to 85 JUST for that. i've *heard* that the spawn timers have been lowered, and to start looking at 6 hours after the last kill. I also ask other hunters in the region when the last kill was sited, and offer to return the favor of other beasts. Our SB is ridiculously loaded with hunter talk lately, between farming and beasts. It's kind of fun, you kind of get to know everyone and when you hit Dalaran, everyone's jabbering about the latest tame, or the latest tag kill.
Gar, what do you mean by the 'gas cap?' I always thought the prime spot to find skoll was near the harpies?
and I STILL can't get rid of the cache. Ihave both Silverdragon and NPC scan loaded (each goes off differently for me) so i'm afraid i'm right on top of them and completely unaware.

The “gas cap” is what I call the spawn location above Brunnhildar. It looks like one of the titans dropped their gas cap in the snow right there.
You see what I'm sayin'… 'cause titans are really big, so they'd need huge cars… with big gas caps… like the one above Brunnhildar…
