UI seems shatter-proof

I logged one instance, a couple BGs and did some adventuring last night. I didn’t encounter any issues with any of the addons in my compilation. I just wanted to update those of you who may have had a trepidation about trying it just before the patch.

Shadowclaw

Shadowclaw’s got a new paint job. I came across him while observing the devastation to my old Darkshore stomping ground. He’s just one of the many pets that received a makeover.

I have lots to talk about, but I am in the midst-of holiday pre-game (i.e., whirlwind planning and preparations for tomorrow’s feast). If I get some time later this evening I’ll try to get in some updates.

I’ll tell you this though… this patch is awesome! 🙂

So much to discover and do, not to mention… is it just me, or does everything just look so much cooler now..? I’m really impressed with the attention to detail that’s been placed on just about everything.

  1. Well, speaking of ShadowClaw, I ran into Strider Clutchmother (41,49), on my new druid. Logged out post haste and onto my wee hunter and raced to catch her before someone killed her – the zone was positively crawling with worgen.

Hey, what the …. was that? Screeetch, full stop! Nice! ShadowClaw! He’s certainly changed since I bagged him last. Dismiss pet, tame. Bingo!

Raced back to Lor’danel and stabled my new pet, and hurried down to see if I could bag the Clutchmother as well. Phew, still there, so I bagged her as well.

Quite the motherly type – as soon as I tamed her, she turned on her own offspring and killed them :-/

  2. Gar…….I know why they gave us all the stable slots…..I have been running all over the place taming things once deemed un tamable…..first on my list was what I like to refer to as Battlecat…the green skinned cat is now tameable…..the different colored plague hounds….i mean i don’t know where to stop….excpet I might write down the names of all these allaince mages that are taking advantage of the no portal deal and handle them later on my elemental shammy…but seruiously….I spent all night going to different locations taming beautiful pets….I hate Blizzard they managed to pull me right back in!

    • You keep doin’ your thing lawman.

Hey..! How about tossin’ me an article man..?

I think pre-cata, pet lovin’ hunters could use some lawman perspective on the new patch.

  5. Yes a million times cooler – so much to see I was going to venture into Eastern Kingdoms, but haven’t fin Kalim yet, but was just too tired. I saw that cat when we went to Darkshore too but someone had already killed it D: Forgot to recheck if it spawned again. Was thinking about getting that and abandoning my Winterspring Saber but then I though I already have the two spirit beast cats, I don’t really need any other cat, most likely will be using other animals for other specs. WTB more stable slots. Also I noticed the Hyena I tamed in SM has turned into dog… Well back to work and camping King Krush.

    • I honestly cannot believe it. King Krush. 12:00pm. Thats 1 rare each day for the past 4 days. I was camping at the northern spot but then my friend alerted me on IM that he saw King Krush at the southern spawn point – so rusheddd and luckily got him before anyone else ^^ After all the comments I was worried about taming him but I didn’t have any problem at all, just ran these two macros:

      #showtooltip Bestial Wrath
      /cast !Bestial Wrath
      /script PetAbandon()

(I just tamed the serpent nearby to abandon, can’t tame Farun the rhino D:)

      /use Potion of Speed
      #showtooltip Tame Beast
      /cast !Tame Beast
