[#500]

Hey guys.. I have a very simple but what seems to be a very useful macro here that is supposed to cast "Kill Shot" whenever available otherwise used mainly for Steady Shot/Arcane Shot/Aimed Shot/Multi Shot. Unfortunately it does not seem to work.. The only thing that happens is the "Kill Command"

I am playing on WoW version 3.3.5a ... Here's the macro below.. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong and why does it say "Spell is not ready yet". Why is it stopping at kill shot??

#showtooltip Aimed Shot

/cast [target=pettarget,combat] Kill Command

/cast Kill Shot

/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear();

/cast !Auto Shot

/cast Aimed Shot

The Aimed Shot above will be replaced ofcourse in both the 1st and last line by the appropriate spell other things remaining unchanged..

How are you playing 3.3.5 still?

And Kill Shot is on the GCD which causes the macro to break.

Lol.. dont ask how...

And yeah I guessed it was because of Kill Shot GCD.. So can you help me out with what the macro should be instead keeping what Im trying to achieve her intact ?? I understood how GCD affects the macro but havin a hard time thinking of how I can rewrite the macro to perform the same function...

You literally cannot do what you are aiming for, so suck it up buttercup and do as the rest of us, learn to play the game!

Ya, the all shot 1 Macro went out in TBC.   Almost everything can not be in a shot macro anymore.

Gorin,

Just take Kill Shot out of the macro and you'll be all set. Or, you could leave it in there with a [mod:shift] or some other modifier.

If you leave it in, maybe put it on the last line just to be safe.

Personally though, I suggest just binding it to its own key and getting used to activating it that way. Mine's bound to Y.
