Well, I figured since the mac users have their own thread; PC users deserve one too! So post up your setup.
As for me, I'm a starving college student with way too many expensive hobbies so my gaming rig isn't fully complete yet. I've got most of the parts with high hopes that I'll be able to get my last few pieces in the next week or so.

well it is old school. It's like three or four year old card, isn't it? I just would have expected you to have the latest and greatest on graphics cards, however, as I am researching a new system, I am running into the newest models are running into driver issues. So, maybe you are onto something…

Just bought an evga nVidia GTX 460 graphics card, hoping the new update that will allow us to use DX 10/11 will make this puppy scream. Not super happy with it's performance atm, 30 fps in Dal is all I can pull out of it on ultra settings, unless I'm inside a building. You guys with the ATI cards, how is your fps in Dal? Almost bought a 5770 instead of the nVidia, but I've always been an nVidia user, so I went with the 460.

I'm not into the whole buy and build computer for myself. It's so impressive that all of you can do it! But for purchased comps, I have fell in love with my Asus, Got it last year after my emachine blew up (no litterally) and it runs wow liek a champ. Yes I did go alittle overboard with which one I bought, but the guys in small town Iowa lead me to the right direction when I walked in and said.
“I play wow.. alot.. I want to raid with 25 people will all my graphics high and still run at 60fps.”
By golly I do, I know it's a after market Nvida graphic cards and 8 Gigs of something and alot of memory. Now that you know I have no idea of the inners of the computer /cheers!

lol usually the only time I need a computer is when I don't want to wait for one, and having one built usually requires time. To think about being away from wow for a week due to lack on computer would be toucher for me.
