Why the Difference in Pet Talent Points Between BM and MM-Hunter Pet Discussion-Hunter Forums-HuntsmansLodge.com

I am a dual speced Hunter. Want to try out my second spec so using  the WOW Hunter Guides I have created or speced into a Level 85 MM Hunter as my secondary spec. All my pets when using BM has 21 Points for Talents. I finally bagged Terrorpene. The rest are exoctic which I cannot use as a MM. Anyways, I only have 17 as a level 85 TP for my turtle. If I switch to BM I have 21. So the builds they list in the guides cannot be accomplished unless I am missing something? Do they need to gain level again with the second spec? Thanks!!

Edit; I did find that 17 is Max on MM or SV…So the question becomes; What is the best build if you are a Level 85 MM on the mission to be able to Solo a lot of instances. I am meaning this from the Pet perspective no the MM Build. I am using a Turtle and from my reads is the best Tank Pet around right now…At least for the moment………
