     I realize he's not a pet, but you definitely, camp him and hunt him, as if he is.  So this I believe is the ultimate pinnacle of the hunter, finding rare pets, and then finding a rare mount.  So I finally decided to put an even bigger effort into finding TLPD, since I figured I would have a better chance due to everyone questing in the new Cata.  I…. of course was wrong, for thinking that I was the only one to come up with that brilliant Einstein like idea.  There were alot of people still.  But I camped and had already gotten Skoll, and found Dirkee, and killed Varygosa 8 times!!!!, once each day for 7 days, once I killed him twice in one day.  So I had a good feeling about him the other night.  I sat there for 4 hours, then I was getting ready to log off, and was sitting back with my eyes closed, when all of a sudden NPC Scan goes off.  Yikes!!! I jump up and just stare at the screen, expecting it to be Varygosa, and its TLPD, and I just stared like a petrified idot, ha!!.  All the hours of careful planning, 1. find TLPD  2. hit record  3. target him  4. fly above him, and shoot him  5. Very causually, and calmly hit my Slowfall Lager, and blast him all the way down  6. Walk over and loot my Prize.   So simple and easy in the planning, after all it's just a game, right??!!

     Well, here's how Real Life occurs. 1. NPC Scan goes off  2. Stare dumbly at the screen, as if mesmerized, as if I'm a snake, caught under the spell of an Indian Snake Charmer with his flute   3. Drop mouse and fumble around, somehow I cant find it, or hang on to it, cause I'm shaking uncontrollably  4. Can't seem to remember how to target it, but finally do  5. Shoot him, (that went as planned)???  6. Stare at my Snowfall lager button, and cant remember how to use it, (do I click it?, Do I use my mind to activate?, Exactly what is this thing you call Snowfall Lager?? me no remember, duh)  7. Watch myself, fall to my death, and wonder how is it I din't survive the fall?, after all, I'm falling on snow right??!! and have to fly back, and for some reason, can't figure out that the tombstone thingy on the map is my body, to rez, hmmmm  8.  Find him again, and shoot him, before someone else does ( this I can always remember, for some odd reason??)   9. Again, cant bring myself to click Slowfall, even tho I'm staring right at it. (it must be the uncontrollable shaking, or it's as if I'm in one of those dreams, where it feels like ur stuck in jello, and can't move, no matter how hard you try).  10. watch myself fall to my death again, and have to wait the excruciating amount of time it takes to re rez.  By now I'm pleading with my son to help me re find him, cause now, he's nowhere in sight, and I'm expecting to see him dead, with some dirty hoard standing next to his body gloating at his good fortune, that I was the one that found it for him…..hahahahhehee, maniacal, hysterical laughter starting to emerge.  My son, calmly logs, off his toon, then logs back on with another one, and proceeds to find him for me after about 10 mins, thank goodness he hadn't de-spawned yet.  

     My son then proceeded to target him, shoot him, and then sit there and take damage while waiting for me to get there, then jumped off the ledge so I could, then attempt to target and draw aggro, and finally kill him, which, I was't doing for some reason, I wasn't hitting any attack buttons, uggghhh, I was killing him slowly with auto attack.  Just didn't know what to do with these strange new things, I just got, called hands, and fingers, how strange?!! Idiot, Idiot, idiot, wake up!! wake up!!

     But fortunately this story has a happy ending, with me on my New Mode of Transportation in looking for more rare pets.  I was shaking for at least an hour afterwards.  I'd like to thank my son, who's the kool, calm collective one here, for finally helping me get this mount after so long, and thinking it was a made up story about this rare mount that they tell to little hunter children to frighten them.  And thanks to all of you who have made this site such a joy to visit, and learn, and share these “oh so awful, yet exhilarating adventures, that only us Hunters can relate to, when we proceed to abandon quest, and lvling, and raiding, just to top the next hill, or round the next corner, hoping to spot that next rare pet to add to our already overloaded mini Ark…..Wheeew, glad that's over…oh no….. wait I hear theres some new rare drake that flys in Deepholm…..oh man I gotta go!!!!, talk to u all in 6 months after I get this new one too, crack addicts, aint got nothing on Hunters!!!  I might need to find a 12 step hunting program for this addiction……..Now where do I go to look for this?, and will NPC go off when I've found help?
