Hey fellow hunters,
this thread is for everything sambas, tell us about your tame or your close encounters. Information about spawn timers and camping routes would be appreciated for those who know.

As far as I know, the spawn time is the “usual” 6-24 hours. In my case, these guys showed up 5 minutes after the hour. The Sambas flight path is also a great way to look for Elementium Ore.

(I copied and pasted the wrong link. — I gave that link of free ebooks at Amazon to my brother who has a Kindle. lol. Might still be useful for us hunters to do something productive while camping, right? — but be careful though, don't drop your Kindle or ebook reader when you hear that NPCscan alert!

I was amazed to find him during a peak time at about 6:30pm on a week night. I was flying through the route when NPCScan went off. (I honestly think the only reason I tame rares is for that feeling when the alert pops and your adrenalin kicks on… you all know what I mean)
I couldn't see him anywhere on the screen, dismounted, and he pounced on top of me. Hit my tame macro, and he was mine. He was much smaller than typical rare spawns are, so he was hard to spot.

Looked for 3 days in a row before I finally got him.
These are the times I've seen/found/heard he was around/tamed etc.
Thursday 16.00, tamed.
Thursday 23.45, tamed.
Friday 12.00, spotted.
Friday 23.30, tamed.
Saturday 00.20, tamed <— Me!
I would assume he spawned beetwen Friday and Saturday in the morning, I was supposed to step up and look but overslept.
So far all have been with 8-12 hours between on Earthen Ring EU the last days.
