So, I don't want to sound like a butt.. But, I was wondering if they made the timer's on spirit beasts easier?
I caught loque'nahak yesterday at 6pm server time went to bed woke up at 4am for work did some flying caught gondria at 5am server time. Today I get back on and I'm hunting King Krush and lo and behold Loque'nahak is under me again. 1:32 pm server time.
No one was in the area I waited around for possibly 3 minutes and hollered in general for another hunter before I decided to tame him myself for the 2nd time.
He was just to pretty to pass up.
But anyway's myself personally caught loque 2 time's in less then 20 hour's and gondria while just doing a mid morning coffee WoW wake up.
I said this before but am I just 1 lucky hunter or did Blizz hotfix these guy's to be more easily tamed by the masses

My guess is there's a little less competition for them these days. I think the timers are the same, but there are fewer players in Northrend right now, so more opportunities to nab one.

I mean is Loque'nahak still on a 6 hour timer and does he really only stay around for 10 minute's? If so I'm just lucky

I don't think he disappears at all. I believe that players used to think he did, just because he'd either get tamed or killed so quickly.
A couple months ago, I saw Loque twice in a 24 hour period without really looking for him. Yet, I haven't seen him since whenever I've been in the Basin.
I think you just got really lucky.

Yah your lucky. I go to Basin alot for skinning and I have never seen Loque or Aotona before. I have seen King Krush twice, once when I tamed him by all the wasp and again a week later I just got out of an Instance and appeared on his dead body south of the camp. That was about a month ago. I haven't seen him sense.

I agree with Gar, it really depends on how busy your server is. I don't even believe they share spawn timers now: a friend of mine once saw King Krush and Loque together.

King krush is the only sholzar basin one I have yet to tame. Seen his corpse once. He's the one i've actually been looking for the whole time cause I thought he'd be the easiest to get/find guess I was wrong

Had I been you I would've bought a lottery ticket that day because Lady Luck was with you that day, my friend. No nerfs to the SB timers. Simply fewer people there and the ones who are there are looking to finish Frostbitten (or die laughing watching a crazy hunter ;P ).

I'm still looking for King Krush while everyone is doing cata content. No luck yet.
The thing is my server is well packed for it's size, It was the only server to go offline unexpectadly 11 hour's after Cata was released.
Like full blown Crash that Blizz wasn't aware about until the forum's started filling up with us.
