Because Lady Luck favors-me-not thus far in the expansion, I turn to my fellow Lodgies to regale me with their tales of triumph so that I might live vicariously through them.
Who have you tamed?
How long did it take?
Did you manage to tame more than one of the rare spawns?
DETAILS, PEOPLE. I NEEEEED DETAILS!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not event attempted to find a rare tame yet. I'm to focused on leveling and learning how to dps on BM. I've played so long as MM that BM dpsing is almost foreign to me. I'm learning it though.
I have picked up a few new pets though. My current new favorite is one of the new tigers, which are gorgeous. I have been driving everyone nuts in the guild talking about how great the new models look and sound. *grin* I've also tamed the raptor that looks like one of your mounts and one of the "water walking" bugs.
So no rare tames for me yet, although I have not seen any Hunters on my server yet that have one. I'm sure there probably is as there is a Hunter around every corner on my server.

I just snagged Savage today! Wasn't exactly excited about the whole tracking concept, but I figured what the heck, I'm a rare maniac so I might as well try. Followed the tomtom points someone generously posted on wowhead and started looking for paw prints. Sure enough I came upon a few, got turned around a few times, but eventually persevered and now I have the loveliest white tiger in all the land =D

Sadly no, Gar. =(
In an effort to manage my frustration, though, I have opted to focus on taming one specific pet.....Stompy! I wants me a rare goat! I log in so that I can patrol for him in between other activities (which I feel overwhelmed with - but in a good way). I have not given up hope in the least, though, and I am sure that I will triumph in the end.
