Holy crap!  I didn't notice this until just now.  You can now see the pets a player has by looking at their armory profile.  It might just be a US thing.

It's brand new to the armory.  I'm particularly enamoured of it and am currently spending most of my phone hold time at work playing with my pets.  Girl's gotta kit them out somehow…
