I'm a level 27 troll hunter dying to get a Ravager on Azuremyst island.
The boat dock at Auberdeen was destroyed so those boats no longer run. found that out after running all the way thru Ashenvale.
A level 85 priest tried to help me water walk there last night from Blackfathom deeps but you hit the fatigue death not too far out.
Is it possible for me to create an alliance Alt hunteron my son's seperate WOW account, have him capture a ravager and then sell it to my hunter troll via a trade or the Auction house?
Let me know if anyone has any experience with doing this.

Grim, do you have flying? I frequently fly from a tip along the shore in Darkshore, right over to Teldrassil, then take the boat from there to Azuremyst.
No, you cannot sell pets period, let alone sell via cross faction AH. Damn clever idea though, damn clever.

You unfortunately have only these options:
(1) As Niika said, fly/water walk from the point she mentioned.
(2) Find a way to get into Stormwind and catch the boat that leaves from there.
(3) Talk a high level Warlock into going there and summon you. (Make sure there is enough people with the Warlock to summon you.)

When you figure out a way to get out there make note of it – you'll have to take the same sort of path again to visit the tables for the Thanksgiving event if you don't already have it. It was a huge headache to get there. Didn't help Blizz put level 85 NPC's on patrol so be on the lookout when you get there for the pet. They hit hard.

At level 27 I do not have the ability to fly yet and I'm not sure when I would get that ability. Any ideas based on the changes with Cataclysm?
Is there a way for someone at my level to teleport into Teldrassil and from what location? I've seen those teleportation “runes?” for sale in Arathi/Hillsbrad and I think there is teleportation link in undercity.
As I've tried most everything else I will try the stormwind approach tonight. I've gotten used to dying dozens of times to get past high level guards anyway. All the better if I can find a warlock to summon me but why would he need extra people?

What realm are you in? I'll help you if your in Darkspear. I've got a sweet rocket ship thats seats two. I usually only let the ladies ride, but I'll make an exception for you.

I'm in Nordrassil US.
Based on a few google searches it does not look like you can fly to Azuremyst either. Fatigue will hit you about 2/3 of the way across.
I did find one suggestion to try and waterwalk to Teldrassil from NW Felwood starting at Mist's Edge and then try to get on the boat to Azuremyst in Rut theran Village.
I'll report back on my efforts after tonight.

A requirement on the Warlocks summon spell is it needs 2 or 3 people to click on the portal to summon someone. (I could be wrong on the amount of people, it may just need the Warlock and one other.)

I investigated one suggestion I received this weekend. This idea was to “Ghost Run” from the Stormwind dock to Auzure Myst Island.
The steps involved were as follows:
1) Take a fairly easy to swim down the river and up onto the southern-most Stormwind boat dock. You are then supposed to die at the end of the dock and take the boat from there to Teledrassil as a “ghost”. No problem dying there as there are the level 85 guards kill you right before you can get on.
2) “Ghost Run” on Teledrassil to the western-most dock in Darnassus and catch the boat to Azuremyst Island. Easy.
3) Leave the boat on Azuremyst and “ghost run” to a graveyard in order to resurrect yourself before finally going on to find a ravager to tame. Almost but not quite.
Part of the instructions required that you log-off before resurrecting on Azuremyst so that WOW would somehow “forget” where you came from so that your body would remain on Azuremyst. I did that but this suggestion failed. I got to the graveyard in Auzuremyst but when I resurrected there I ended up iin a Graveyard in Elwynn Forest. That had been the last horde region where I had actually been in my body. Bummer.
I'm gonna try this one more time but not as a ghost. I've heard that the guards do not attack you once you are on the boat and that unless a player kills you , you are safe until the next dock. I can foresee jumping onto the boat at Stormwind right after I resurrect but if there are guards at the docks of Darnassus and Azuremyst I'm doubtfull about being able to slip past them alive. I might try jumping off the boat before it docks and try my luck that way.
We'll see. I'm already at level 33 so only 27 more levels until I get a flying license anyway.
I've had no interest yet from any warlocks to give summoning a try.

ummmm….perhaps the Goblins over in Gadgetzan can help you give it a little boost, slept right through that ride.
