Hello Garwulf my friend and all fellow hunters, long time no type. I know most of you old timers have many of the spirits but hey enough about you, let's talk about me 
After taking a 7 month hiatus from WoW the Cataclysm bug finally got me so I sold a few Christmas presents and re-activated my account. After crying for a few days at my now pitiful gear-okay it wasn't that great to begin with, I decided to take my Level 
ace huntard Agio(me) out for the spirit beasts. Oh how I love the lack of people in Northrend. Well today I nabbed Loque, Gondria and Arcturis in succession. Gondria and Arcturis within 30 minutes of each other. Hello 2011!
I'd been camping Arcturis off and on for the past 3 days and have read here and elsewhere he has the weirdest longest spawn times so when he lit up on npc scan (a fabulous add-on that makes you jump out of your chair when it goes off) jump I did. So I zoom down and….oh my God… too many active pets? ……Aaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!. Panic much? Oh yes. I fly to the Amberpine Lodge stable master-urging my bird to hurry the hell up, both swearing and praying mightily Arc won't disappear or worse, get ganked by some warlock. I stable Gondria-I think, it was a pet of some kind, and go back and there he still is the sexy beast. Tamed him-did a happy dance and wanted to share my tale with other hunters.
On the other hand I'm concerned, that much luck in one day-I'll probably get hit by a bus on Monday…. I tamed King Krush a couple days ago, man I am so screwed for 2011…

Hi Agio, welcome back to WoW fellow huntard!
I had very similar luck in terms of getting Arc and Gond within minutes of each other, I have been camping spirits for months with no success but since cata and the lack of campers it is much easier, in the space of a few days I managed to get Ghostcrawler, Jadefang, Gondria, Arc, King Krush, Ironhide (as I was passing and he popped up!) so it's been a successful christmas time!
I love hearing stories from other hunters and find that we have a very unique convosation starter that other classes simply don't have “Nice pets!”.

Northrend is Old World 2.0 (well technically 3.0 lol). It's kinda depressing sometimes… On the the other hand, the Old World cities got their old glory back. Blizz did a good job in steering people back to the capital cities.

Thanky flikQ-Man that's a good run you've had Given I'd only played WoW for 6 mos prior to the hiatus I was never too involved in the camping thing but heard many tales of woe so never bothered. I love the pets. BM freak I is.
Anj-As I play entirely solo and my illustrious WoW career in its entirety spans 6 mos and 1 week the lack of people in Old World 2.0 or 3.0 rocks for me. So much is still fresh and fun.
