For the last week or so ive been looking for arcturis. I want more but im only a 74 so there will be more to come. I have not had luck finding him at all so i said screw it ill do some of the quests here. I called my old pal old cliff jumper and off we went. We killed some orcs, killed some wolfsk, grabbed a locked chest etc etc. Went back to the lodge turned these in and the quest giver sent me out for bear meat. So i killed a couple grizzlys, and what do i see? Old spirit bear just peeking out over the rise! First thing i thought i was like whaaaaa? U mean ive been searching for a week non-stop and this fool is just chillin there eating grass? So i put cliff away and for some reason forgot to drop a trap…no biggy tamed him like a champ. Named him rupert at my 9 year olds request , becaus of stewies pet bear on FG.

Congrats magoo-Arc has one of the most bizarre spawn times and he only spawns in one spot-as you found out it's so close to Amberpine Lodge it's ridiculous.
In your future quest for rare beasties search this sight, Gar has with the collaboration of others pretty much covered all of them in detail. Maps and all. This site is invaluable for info that you can actually use and understand. Also, if you don't have it, definitely grab npcscan. Gar's covered it as well. It's the cats ass-even if it does freak you out when it finds a rare. Best of luck in the journey.

Ty, i dont use a addon too find these pets i do it in the purest forms and ive gotten lucky too. I have every pet u can imagine and a few you cant get anymore like ghost saber and the gator from the sw canals. Oozeworm still escapes me but ill get him one day
