About 1:45 a.m. server time. I logged in right where he spawns and “HOLY HELL HE'S UP AND NO ONE'S TAMING HIM!” Long story short, 2 hunters helped me bring him low enough to tame, 2 others watched. NO ONE TRIED TO STEAL HIM! Hooray for hunters being classy to each other! It was a thrilling tame due to how long it takes and having to kite him (I kited him back and forth behind the wall to try and avoid prying eyes =P ). Can someone tell me how to post a screenshot? I have no friggin clue what I'm doing.
I named him Purpllewt.
I am exhausted now. Off to bed and sweet purple dreams.

DAAAAANG!!!! Your guildie tamed a S.Priest!?! That, my friend, is legendary. 
A very important part of the story that I left out was that Deth did manage to kill me on my first tame attempt. I had forgotten to fire off a last concussion shot before starting my tame so it ended up being a race of cast bars: my Tame Beast vs. Deth's Deth Strike. I lost the race.
Not only that, but I was sure I had lost the tame, as well. After all, there were four other hunters there. I rezzed, ran back and found that all of them were still there waiting for me to have another go at it.
I had never been more thankful or proud to be a humble hunter among great hunters with real class. After what I had witnessed the last time a hunter was trying to tame Deth, where other hunters were actively trying to steal the tame while the hunter who found Deth was kiting him, I was sure that my death marked Deth as “Open to the Public” once more. I doubt I will ever be happier to be wrong.

Quick update. I grew to despise the name and just changed it to Epic. Much more fitting for purple lewt.
