CHROMAGGUS IS MINE!

I've tried since he was patched in as tameable to get past that damn first boss in BWL with various groups/individuals with no luck.  Either we run out of time or patience or the boss kept bugging and nuking us after the last egg.  I have left my computer in frustration more nights than I care to admit.  I just needed to get past that damn boss, then I just KNEW the rest would be a breeze and I'd have my shiny, dragony corehound.

My nephew logged on last night and we spent over an hour trying to 2 man the first boss before we FINALLY got him (We tried to go hunter/rogue but I eventually broke down and brought in my warrior to tank the adds).  After that it was a quick jaunt of burning bosses and disarming suppression traps (damn pocket rogues are handy!) to bring me to The Lever.  It was quite a surreal moment.  Most tames feel so rushed since your trying to get it done before someone comes along and ganks you or the beast.  It's different with Chromaggus.  No one bothers you and you get to just stand there and look at him behind the bars and take in his majesty.  You know he is about to be yours and nothing/noone can stop you at this point.  I felt like Rhino from the movie Bolt…”All of my training has prepared me for this moment.”  (Yes, when I quote movies they're kids movies…I have 3 kids  ages 8 and under, whaddya expect me to be watchin?!  =P  ).  I pull the lever.  I hit my macro.  Seconds later he shrinks down to size, I name him Temujin (the name I have always used for any corehound pet) and we proceed to PUNCH NEFARIAN IN THE FACE!  Totally sweet way to break him in, I thought.

Damn I love being a hunter!
