Curious to know, what's your favorite tank pet since Cataclysm released?
I've always been partial to my bear, who was I think the 2nd pet I ever tamed and still have in my stable. I've tamed many other Tenacity pets, but mostly for the looks or i just “wanted to have one of those.” My stable is full with 25 pets and I'm wondering if really, do I need all these tanks? I fell in love with the beetle until they ninja-nerfed the color changing scarab from Uldum. I dropped him

Only one. People think Terrorpene is rare, finding and taming this guy is insanely hard but the best (IMO) in the game. It's on a random world spawn timer so impossible to camp.

Personally i think terrorpene is the coolest tank but im gunna have to stick with my Uhk'loc for now because he accualyl took awhile to get and something about gorillas just makes them seem more tuff.

I try to swing by and see if Terropene is up eery time I'm on, but I've never spent any time “camping” his spawn area. I just don't have the patience. The only Spriti Beast I have (the bear) I found completely by chance one day.
Anyone use a crocolisk? Is Terropene your fav because of his looks or because the tortoise is the best tank? Are there any stats that support the great shelled ones as the best?

I like Terrorpene to tank stuff I want to solo that I shouldn't be able to because of his damage reduction ability. I like Jadefang to tank stuff like dailies where I want to do multiple mobs at once, dish out more damage, but I'm relatively certain that damage won't be an issue.
Without looking at the armory, I don't know that I have any other tank pets. =P

Apart from his awesome look, there's nothing special about Terrorpene that sets him apart from other turtles. It's the Shell Shield ability that is key. It makes turtles and beetles (harden carapace is basically the same ability) the most attractive pets for hardcore soloing adventures.

I think i should head to Naga-land. Pinks and greens and peaches are a girls' friend.

OMG Niika, I just realized we're both on Moon Guard! Let me know if you ever need a hunting buddy. I thought *I* had a thing for cats but I just saw your Stable, wow, lol.
I'm going to steal your line about refusing to tame Terropene 
though it's really just 'cause I never see him. I think I rescued my Shelly from the sandy shores of Borean Tundra and I'm pretty happy with him.
I decided to drop all my tanks but my turtle, shale spider (for BM tanking) and of course, my bear, cause I've had her since we were both little

I used a raptor while leveling but have pretty much stuck only with Ferocity pets since level 
– cats and wolves, partial to the colored ones.
Favorite – Snitpooter, purple frostsaber from winterspring and Sebastian – a white ghost cat I picked up from somewhere after running around the area clicking on various statues on the ground. Greenbean is the newest edition – cat from Fellwood.

If he hits you in the face as he did me maybe grab him, he's a funky pet. If you cook you can use him instead of a campfire. Think of him as environmentally friendly.

Ozzie, i'm really stupid about cats. And yes, I didn't realize you are on MG too? What is your toon name? I'm GL of the Screaming Bees and we are awash in hunters (mainly because I'm stupidly addicted to them and everyone is better than me and I don't care due to my feline addiction which you have duly noted!) Would love to run with you!
Abby, I have that cat, love it. Need to come up with a name for it, but Greenbean is hilarious.
Aggie! hahahaa that is hilarious! I am in the process of leveling my bear as we speak. I'm all about making the non-workable work. It's stupidly stubborn of me, but it's a lot of fun. I'm wondering if a bear can help hurt the H LK?

I'm still levelling Terrorpene. I have a wolf fetish and after a wolf, the turtle..well let's just say I go grab a snack after I send him in to attack. Hell I even went out and grabbed pizza once. By the time he gets to the MOBS I'm back. For now I'm using this Tank Definitely a workable lil fella.

Atm, I'm using Terrorpene, or Trevor as I call him, but I do have a bear that I've been using post Cata.
Only use either of them when I get to a Q that requires any sort of tanking, like Group Quest or when there's multiple mobs to kill..
I'm mostly all about Cats, 'cause I just love the looks of them

Ive found that lately my main pet Ive been using for soloing is http://www.wowhunterpets.info/…..Cat_Orange . Thats for doing stuff like dailies, farming mats, etc. When instance running or raiding I bring out http://www.wowhunterpets.info/…..Wolf_Black , mostly because there is usually a DK in the group, which cancels out the buff that cats give. If there is another Hunter in the group with a pet that gives the same buff as my wolf, then I bring out my old buddy Spaz http://www.wowhunterpets.info/…..Hyena_Grey .
Of course when I need things tanked I get out my turtle. He and I have been playing in WotLK heroics. We have been progressing solo in heroic Pit of Saron.

Wow really?? I never knew that you could, he's my fave tank pet because I dig the skin – and he's done pretty well tanking some hard mobs etc for me. Can't wait to try cooking with him tonight – I'm wondering if I should spend 2k buying cooking mats for a guild recipe…
