This is a good one ladies n gents so there i was sitting in storm peaks doing my usual for the last 7 days waiting o waiting o waiting for skoll……been flying around killing sitting in one of his spots when i said hey screw this gonna go lvl my 74 hordie druid for a while take a break basically. earlier that day i had jokingly said too myself im gonna park my druid right where arcturis spawns well lone behold i log in npcscanner goes off i quickly log out hop on my hunt fly out as fassssst as i can and there he was still patroling. i did not even wanna risk a freezing trap it was land tame huge yellow flash and there i was with the bear people sit on my server for days waiting for and i got him all on a chance of leaving one of my toons over his spawn point

I got arcturis two days ago, only took me about half an hour max to train him just by luck he popped up
I tried to get him before when I was appox 77 or so but got killed by some alliance just as he spawned, again only after about 10 mins of me being there though, I really think it's total luck since some people sit there for days!

Ya it totally is i have been nice though if i see someone sitting out there all the time i just leave it be till they get the pet and i politely ask them too whisp me if they got him so i can go wait

I managed to get Arcturis on my second morning of trying. I had stayed up ridiculously late the night before looking for him but got up very early to give it another go. Well I had logged in around 7am local (6 am server) and hovered around the area for nearly an hour. I was telling a friend that I was going to log out when another yellow dot appeared….Arcturis!! I got so excited telling my friend that I literally landed my mount right on top of him. Was a relatively easy tame, found him at about quarter to the hour to about 5 minutes to; as reported in many forums. A few days later I was in the area and took a peek down the hill and he was there again. So I did a who's here search and another lvl 74 hunter was nearby. I told him and he flew over and tamed him! Now on to Loque…..three days so far…too many people in the basin these days I'm thinking.

I've been searching for loque and krush sort of half heartedly recently since been in the basin a lot for leather and dailies and so far nothing
Still haven't thought of a name good enough for my lovely arcturis yet, any ideas?

Grats, he is awesome! My husband camped him (or technically made me camp it for him) for weeks! Never got him. I decided to just swing by there one day for the hell of it on my Hunter when I hit 76 and there he was! Hubby still hasn't forgiven me for it
