So. I dinged 85 the other day and went straight to the abandoned reef. Swam around here and there while looking at weird youtube videos. And just as i was goingto eat dinner 3 hours later(20.00) he pops out from a coral. And DAMN he hits hard, ended at 30% health.
So I decide to go explore Twilight Highlands the day after and can't resist to fly a lap around Sambas and Karoma, no luck first lap so I continue with Heroics.
Comes out from Tol'vir and fly over to look while we queue again.
And Karoma appears! Not the hottest pet imo but hey, it's rare.
And then fly over to look for Sambas.
I pause midair and write something in Guildchat and NPCscan goes nuts 5 minutes after Karoma!
It's Sambas!
Can't believe my eyes so i start circling like crazy but the NPCscan-tag wont let me target him. So i assume he's stealthed and run around the wole area on the ground with track hidden. No luck. Continue like that for 15 minutes before I give up.
Then the dilemma.
I venture to the shower to claw my eyes out and goes out on Wowhead to check up on him a bit more.
Missed that he spawns at “Victors Point(?)” = =
Oh well, got Karoma!

Awww! Better luck next time with Sambas, he's tricky, but still that is one fantastic day of pet hunting, congrats!!

Haha yeah, circling the area now since it's gone 8 hours, started 2 hours ago just in case between instances. So, maybe he pops tonight if I'm lucky!

No luck so far.
However I know a bit about his spawn timers after asking around in the area.
Thursday 16.00 (Could'nt find him)
Thursday 23.45 Tamed after asking in general and got a reply from a paladin who's friend tamed it.
Friday 12.00 spotted by a Nightelf who was too low level to tame him. Landed first in front of her and showed her Karoma, then logged on an alt and asked if she had any clue + told when Karoma was found.
Friday 23.27 Got tamed just as I flew into the plateu after camping for 5 hours.
So far the timer have been showing me 8-12 hours.
Then decided to step up 08.00 in the morning to check for some hours but overslept, checking again tonight!
EDITED.
Started at 21.00 and was determined to fly around 'til 01.00. Did'nt have to wait that long(almost) ;]
Wrote a nice announce in general chat that I was paying any who find + succesfull tame 2k. Found a friendly DK that I were in party with who was farming ore allong the mountainwall.
She found him JUST as I was going to get a smoke, 00.20 at Victors Point.
Flew over quick as hell(I was at the plateu) and of course I start lagging alot, so I yell for her to tag it. So I come to the spot and click my Macro for Sambas a bit too far away so I had to run 30 yards. Then just tame beast, nothing else.
Win!
