The best thing about being a hunter is the wide variety of pets we have access to. I'll admit I'm a bit vain about my pets and will loiter in SW with a shiny new one to show it off. My most-loved pet right now is Winna's Kitten, the striking green and orange tiger. I get TONS of comments on him. The most common is along the lines of “zomg where did you get that?!?” and even had one person ask how to change the color of pets (I guess he assumed it was an orange tiger I'd somehow turned green.)
My favorite, though, happened a few nights ago. I had just started a random dungeon. We took out the first group of mobs and had to take a break while someone went AFK for a minute. While we were standing there, the healer asked why he couldn't remove the poison effect on my pet. I was giggling as I explained to him that the cat was always green and not to worry about it. 
So, what kind of interesting/amusing comments have you guys gotten about your pets?

The comments I like getting are when people “get” my pet's name. Some examples:
Spirit Bear: FredBear
Oil Wolf: Pigpen
Krush: DinosaurNeil
Ghost Arokoa: Geist
Pets are soooo much fun!

This was during the week before Cataclysm hit. I was pugging (Lich King) and I was surprised with the “cool cat” comments directed to Loquenahak. I just thought that it was cool that up to now, some have not yet even seen Loquena'hak.
Also, like lawman30, I like it when people “get” Yoshí (King Krush)

I have a tendency to name my beasts after obscure gods with relation to their current forms (usually feminine, if I have a choice.) I have a few named after beloved pets who have passed away. It was another hunter who saw me with Daisy and said “…Daisy? That's not like you. You usually name them after a goddess of some sort. Is Daisy a little close to home?”
Talk about instant love.

I have a Shattered Hand Warhound from the Ramparts (who is pretty awesome I have to add!) and I've been asked a few times how I'm able to ride my pet – as I also have the mount that is very similar in appearence

I got 3 comments on King Krush during a 15 minute time spawn right after I tamed him. They were all just curious of when and where I tamed him. When I tamed my current favorite nonexotic furocity pet Spiteflayer the yellow carrion bird, I got one comment say “Awsome bird” witch I have to agree. I think he looks even cooler the Aotona. That is the only comment I have ever recieved on him witch makes me sad. Poor little guy is so underloved :-(. Terrorpene on the other hand well people just won't stop commenting on him. Its understandable as he is one of the most awsome looking pets in the game and certainly the most badass tenacity pet. My favorite comment I have gotten on him is someone said and I quote “OMG YOU TAMED DEATHWINGS PET TURTLE”. I just kinda loled. I just tamed Ghostcrawler today and so far have only recieved one comment just asking the standered when and where I got him.

I'm a god namer too lol, right now I'm on a Final Fantasy kick, with Fenrir (Skoll), Byakko (Gondria), Ifrit (Red Core-Hound), and a color changing beetle named Alexander.
