The most challenging was the first boss where it was a wipefest. We tried all sorts of strats eventually settling with me (with Razorgore) destroying the eggs while the DK rogue and NE druid dps'd and healed. At Chromaggus, I just pulled the lever and tamed straight away — it's surprisingly easy. (Well one can argue that fighting your way through BWL is part of the taming process 
).
And here is … Chromaggus (can't seem to think of any other fitting name but I might go with Orthrus) oh, and that guy in mid-leap…

Congratulations! Thus far my wife has proven to be the biggest obstacle in the tame. She simply cannot see fit to leave me be long enough to get a group to help me get there. Grrrrrrrrr………
As long as we're on the subject of Chromaggus can I get to him by just running along the halls and using FD when necessary to drop aggro? For example, after a group helps me defeat first boss and open the gate, can I just run past the next boss, FD in a safe spot to drop aggro, come to & heal up, run through trash, FD in a safe spot, come to & heal up and so on until I get to the Big Dog? In other words, other than the first boss, are there any bosses that I must kill in order to progress while using FD strategically?

It should be doable after Razorgore but the Halls of Strife would definitely *slow* you down.
Btw, there seems to be a bug. We went to get Nefarian but wiped but when we came back, there was a gate blocking the way through the first room! Our raid progress showed we killed Chromaggus so that could have triggered the bug. We never finished BWL.

Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping my nephew brings his Rogue with me to disarm the traps. =)
My wife says 'hi' back. Should I be worried? =P

Yes, rogues are good.
Nothing to worry about… get worried when it's the wife who insists on taming pets for you
