Hi, having only just discovered I could keep up with ae damage by using the worms burrow skill I figured I would give the Chimaera a go, seeing as it should do even more general damage, however I'm having a nightmare getting the ability to work properly. It seems you need to have something targetted and it is then a channelled attack. Does having normal abilities on auto cast cancel channelling?
The main issues seems to be that it is tied to the global cool down so the button refreshes everytime your pet does something meaning you need to spam the button to get it to work. But then does pressing the same button again cancel the channel?
After all this is seems to do less damage than burrow anyway.

i use a Chimaera for pvp and i have never been able to have it work since the path, perhaps its glitched

I can get it to work randomly by spamming the button, but you get no real notification its working till you see the damage. Sometimes you can see the spell effect but not always.
It also seems to be a cone, so if your chimaera is in the wrong spot it pretty much misses everything apart from the target.
