Hey guys, I love your forums and just discovered them today, very fascinated by these pets especially the angered arakkoa.
Are these still tameable with the unique spell effects or has blizzard nerfed this? Also curious about the oil stained wolf. Sorry if there
is already a topic about this but i did not see one and some of the posts were very old.

I believe Blizzard has nerfed this, as well as reset some of the spells so that the appearance buff is gone. While i've seen some flaming boars running around, my own misty angered arrakoa is mistless.

Hi Miz, welcome to the Lodge!
These pets are still tameable! What Blizz “nerfed” are actually the harmful buffs that some of these pets retained after taming.
Take note that appearance buffs will disappear if:
– the pet dies
– you enter the arena
These are strictly show pets if you've managed to tame one 
My level 20 hunter just got the Ghostpaw Ghost Wolf, though I must admit I haven't tried getting the Arakoa and Oil-stained Wolf again. But in my main, those two still have their appearances.
