hey guys which addons would be best for finding rare pets such as loque'nahak

NPCScan is considered a must have…
though I often read about eagle eyed hunters who SAW their prey BEFORE NPCScan went off!!!
Researching the spawn points (and you're in the right place) is probably better than any addon.
You could also run a targeting macro…
/tar Gondria
/tar Acturis
/tar whoever
and spam it while flying over the appropriate spawn areas.
Read through all the rare pet threads on these forums, is my advice.

hm i tried this method, i spent 2 months searching for loque, 2 weeks searching for any 4.2 pets, idk maybe its just bad luck

Luck really is a factor in rare hunting. Haiz, I know of other hunters using two addons: _NPCscan and SilverDragon. It will also be helpful to use _NPCScan Overlay.
I assume you already know about the cache? If not, quit WoW then navigate to Cache/WDB/enUS then delete creaturecache.wdb. The addons depend on a fresh creature cache for them to properly alert you.
Also remember that it’s summer break in the US, it’ll be a challenge to hunt in the old world (especially at Sholazar Basin) because you’d have to contend with a high number of players leveling.

As Anj suggests, I use all three too (NPC scan, SilverDragon, and the overlay) I have also been in a situation where i've seen the mob before it went off, and I clear my cache at least once a week; each log in if I am camping.
Just like a true hunt, you never know what combination of tools will work to your success, that success being elusive. I have discovered those who stay with camping rares, are the most patient individuals in game. I think that will ultimately be your biggest tool of all.
