Does anyone have any experience with this trinket, I have a chance to get it, but its still a lot gold, and all the discussions on it are mixed. I'm playing as BM for solo, and MM for instances most of the time.

I plugged it in at Femaledwraf, and it seems to be an increase over the other trinkets, and it seems to have gotten a buff in 4.0.6. I've got my deck waiting on Darkmoon to start, but kinda stuck tanking right now as my Pally is one of two tanks in our guild right now, and with our healer situation, I'm it most of the time.

The article says it doesn't proc for BM on our siganture shot of Kill Command. I haven't done much serious playing as of late to confirm that. For MM it appears to be very good. That's starting to irritate me.

Yeah, I read that, they should really fix that, that's what BM has to use. Maybe they will, we can hope.

I got this trinket during 4.0.3 in hopes of significant dps increase as a survival hunter.
Skimming raid logs, I figured out that apart from the passive agility bonus, its damage contribution from the Lightning Strike was varying between ~1% and ~2.5% in typical 4-5 minute raid encounters, and it did miss sometimes, due to using spell hit. A very frustrating investment had it been by then.
As of 4.0.6, the item behaves differently. Now the damage from proc has increased to ~3%-~7%.
It does not miss anymore!
It does not only scale better with SV mastery only but also critical chance.
I see ~17k+ crits frequently, but ofcourse this performance is heavily dependant on personal itemization/current buffs.
The gear/dps related sites and simulations also value this trinket even over Essence of the Cyclone now.
And I may highly suggest this trinket for survival hunters, until obtaining HC rivals with any given equip-ability plus passive 363 agility.
