I know most of the people on this site are BM hunters. I like to use Survival for PvE and BM for PvP. I am concerned about my PvE DPS. I am doing about 20 k, sometimes more, sometimes less. I was at the top DPS wise until the expansion and now I am at the bottom. I really want to know if it is something I am doing, the new gear, rotation or what. Any advice or help would be appreciated. I do not know how to attach the armory if someone would let me know how I will do it. Thanks ahead of time.

It’s probably just the change in gear. As MM when I started out in MoP in instances I was pretty crappy dps, then I started getting better gear and my dps picked up. I’m still not on parr with the likes of Mages or Warlocks, but from what I’ve been reading/hearing, none of the Hunter specs are. I’m not an SV player, so this is about all the advice I can give. I looked up your armory and all the stats look good, so just keep poking away at it.

I am following askmrrobot.com for gear and enchants/mods. I too am SV and find myself usually in the top 3 in LFR dps. Just be sure to upgrade pieces that will give the most benefit first. I am only on 3-4 times per week so I know the advice works. Talents in MoP are important too. I use Glaive Toss which seems to help, especially in groups. I am a clicker, but I use Bartender to group my shots close to one another and shrink the slots so I don’t have as far to move my mouse.

I took the plunge and went to SV for PvE. It took me a bit to get the “rotation” down, but now I’m almost always in the top 5 for dps in LFR. I still PvP as BM, you just can’t beat the utility and burst it has. As for MM, I tried and tried but always come out 20k short of what I can do as SV.
Jacob, I pretty much do the same with my buttons. I have them placed with Bartender in a way that I will have to do the least amount of mouse travel.
