Can someone post a good BM Tree? I cant figure out where to put my points and Id like to see someone elses to get an idea. Im 28 right now (hit 8 levels yesterday) and am enjoying this hunter every bit as much as I ever enjoyed my icon_eek Lock. Maybe even more. It is more of a challenge to me than my Lock though…I KNOW the lock class, but hunter is a whole different ballgame for me. I feel like a noob with it.

I'd go with something like this: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#cbhf

This build emphasizes pet damage and also gives you and your pet the nice passive heal, helping to minimize downtime.

As for pets, you can use just about anything until level 40 or so. In the 40s you'll have access to some of the nice AE and threat generating talents in the Tenacity tree, but until then, just use what you like.

Honestly, you can take every talent in the BM tree and that would provide a decent leveling build. There are really no bad talents in there as far as leveling is concerned.

The talents that you may want to look at outside of the BM tree are:

Go for the Throat – Excellent talent for improving PvE damage (will be good for PvP in Cataclysm when we get Aspect of the Fox).

Hunter vs Wild – Good talent for solo adventures and for PvP.

Improved Serpent Sting – Good for PvE damage.

Until then, just fill out the BM tree… you can't go wrong really…

Once you hit 85, Pathfinding is of little use, so I'd recommend dropping that one. That's a ways off though. icon_wink
