ok here is the deal
i have all my tier 10 gear well most of it

my guild stop doing reg icc and started doing hero icc
so they told me i need to started doing 7k dps
i am little over 5k so can some one give me any advice on what i can do
or if i should change my gems
plz i would consider u a really hunter buddy

- Swap your meta gem for a Relentless Earthsiege Diamond.
- Put agility on your cloak.
- Get rid of your Nightmare Tear and go with a 10agility/15 stam instead.
- Use agility/crit gems in your yellow slots.
- Put attack power on your bracers.
- Put agility on your gloves.
- Put an Eternal Belt Buckle on your belt and socket it with 20 agility.
- Get rid of any gems with hit on them. You're way over hit-capped. Put 20 agility in all of your blue slots (chest can go 10agil/15stam if you want).
- Put 26 agility on each of your weps.

I don't know that those changes alone will net you another 2K+, but they'll certainly help.

Hey Gar, just wanted to see if you could check out my specs, and gear to see if theirs anything I could do to get some more dps.

I switched out my (Carapace of Forgotten Kings), to see if I would get the extra gear buff, even tho it seemed like a downgrade. I also switched out (Leggings of Northern Lights), for the same reason, But should I just go back to to the upgraded gear?, or keep the matching stuff?
I also played around with my reforging, and had changed all haste to mastery, and even some crit to mastery, but I was noticing on my toon spec sheet that, it actually lowered my dps, so a reforged back, kept some haste, some crit, and alot of mastery, and my dps numbers were up, plus my pet dps was up too. Is the character sheet numbers accurate, and correct? Or should I disregard it?
I also would like to know, what my crit should be, and if I should be adding crit, or any haste, or just stay with mastery and agi.
Please let me know what I can do to, once again, lol, to raise my dps. I am gonna stay with BM, and I'm mostly pve raiding, oh and the pet I've been using is a Chimaera, which seems for some reason to be giving me better dps numbers than my devilsaur, or my corehound, Is that a figment of my imagination or is that possible?
Oh, and before someone rags about my stupid Rifle (Rowan's tanking weapon etc, etc) I have not had anything better drop yet, so it's the best I've got, lol.

Character Sheet DPS does not truly reflect actual DPS, in fact it was largely the case that a lot of the higher end hunters had lower character sheet DPS numbers than some of the middling hunters, due to stacking ArP(Pre-4.0), sooo… Yes, get a lot of mastery, but you also do want crit and haste, focusing entirely on one stat is a fairly bad idea.
Personally, I'd get the T10 gloves keep the tier chest and use the leggings of the northern lights and try to get your hit to 8%.
