Hi guys gals and gender confused belfs!

Just a quick question and advice seeking post to see if any of you more experienced hunters can help me with bettering myself!

http://eu.wowarmory.com/charac…..n=Jumpshot

I've recently got my hunter to icon_eek and started to gear up well and quickly, but would liek to check to make sure im doing things right. I've pretty much just done things how i think they should be done but would like to see if i can make any improvments as ive just started icc (got a few nice bits already, Yay WFS! icon_biggrin)

Things i know i can improve on are

-Bracers (im hoping to get the ones from the gunship battle on my visit to Icc on tuesday)

-Cape (apart from badge one im struggling to find one)

-2 set bonues for T-10 (should be getting in 3 more frosts)

-Greatness instead of NES (dam server economy

Any advice on things like spec, gemming, available gear to myself out of icc would be awesome

Thanks all icon_smile

Looks to me like you have things under control. The only questions I can think to ask is:

(1) What is your dps in raids?

(2) Are you in or heading into ICC 10/25?

Thanks for the response Takaas

Im going to Start icc10 now with my guild (on LK) and on icc25 we are on 6 bosses which im hopefully going to start doing too.

In 10 mans i get to around 6.8-7.1k dps on a static(ish) fight but most fights ive done with jump so far envolve alot of running or target swaping <img decoding="async" class="wp-smiley" src="/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif" alt="icon_sad” />

on 25 man putress i got 7.4k dps as i could static it for 90% of the fight, just disheartining when i see other hunters in the guild on 9k dps but im hoping thats only due to 6k gs and not self fault <img decoding="async" class="wp-smiley" src="/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt="icon_smile” />

The guild I'm with, we aren't doing 25 man content, so I can't comment on that. Closest I have come to 25 man is getting in on 25 man VoA. I never really noted my dps there.

As for 10 man stuff, the raid I'm in we have three Hunters. One SV and two MM. Me being one of the MM. The dps meter usually is our Ret Palli at number one with usually around 8500 dps. The SV Hunter is ually about 8k, the other MM about 7500 and myself at about 7k. The other two Hunters outgear me a little, so I'm thinking once I catch up to them I will close the gap a bit more.

One thing I noted is that the SV Hunter jumps to a bit of a lead in dps with fights that require moving around a lot.

I think you will be fine once you get caught up in gear.
