Yo! This is psycot from Germany and I need your help.
I'm playing Troll Hunter with a Survivalspec and now that I know how I like to play I like to have your advice for a new spec.
This is what i created quickly with the wowhead talentcalculator:
With my current spec I got this:
My idea behind this new spec:
- I regulary use my traps for explosive shot, so the additional time doesnt worth it.
Also i dont use Frost Trap many times, so the 1 point in Entrapment is totally enough.
What do you guys think? Is this a good spec or would you replace some points?
Ahh, i forgot to mention I'm playing with a spider and I'm a battleground fanatic
Also I want to go 2vs2 for fun…
I thought of double Hunter just for fun xD
And excuse my bad English skills…
Thank you… =)

My recommendation would be to spec like this:
Picking up Expose Weakness and Noxious Stings is going to boost your damage. Point of No Escape is situational and probably won't come into play much, especially if you don't use your traps a lot.

Okey, thank you for your advince.
Did you think Serpent Sting on the Target is so important?
I have to say, I don't use it atm. Because a hunter has so many things to do in any pvp situation, I dont really have the time to push Strg + Button for Serpent Sting.
And about "Point of No Escape"... the main aspect of my style in pvp is freezing my enemy at a point where I think I can burst my opponent down to zero hp. So it maybie makes sence to skill it?
Do you think I should care about the Serpent Sting Dmg more?
And use the other Stings and so on in the right situation?
And one thing: Resourcefulness...
Freezing Trap with 6 seconds lower cooldown? doesnt worth it?
Try this build Psycot: http://www.wowhead.com/talent#.....edAMok:0kN
Give or take one point, this is thee SV PvP build to use.
Traps are very important in PvP as they guarantee Lock and Load procs. Also, Frost Trap + Entrapment is amazing vs melee.
Serpent Sting for SV hunters is really only important vs targets than can stealth, e.g., Rogues.
Shorter Trap cooldowns are a huge advantage. Traps can be eaten, dispelled, trinketed out of, etc... The more often you have your trap cooldowns back the better. With the gladiator gloves you'll get the CDs down to 22 seconds.

Yo Garwulf, you helped me alot.
I got Serpent Sting macroed anywhere, reachable with any modificator + button... So when I go to BG or Arena I try to dot these rogues and ferals.
Maybie this specc gets me to use Frost Trop more.. Jumping around on lumber mill while a massive pulk of alliance players is coming and then drop my Frost Trap in there way.. Nice! =)
Glad I could help.
Yea, it's pretty awesome to not only have targets snared within your frost trap, but then also having no choice but to eat 2-3 explosive shots as well.
One fun thing to do is run into a pack of enemies while Deterrence is up, drop a frost trap, then disengage out unharmed. Casters won't be able to escape melee and ranged will be free to work on the melee enemies stuck in the frost. Again... good times.
