Hi Gar-Hoping in between grading papers you can help out zee lonely dwarf again. Have pretty much followed your initial advice, was good and thanks.
Had xp turned off at 77 so I could do a few things in Northrend without getting bored but now I figure I'll take the lil man to 
so any help will be appreciated and valued. Given my choice of playing entirely solo the gear aint great but its about all I'm gonna get sans pvp. Might go there but I figure I still suck at huntering for my standards so maybe later-besides then I'll get all 'serious' n such 
Couple of things, at this point I rarely use Steady Shot so I'm wondering if switching over to the HM glyph for the RAP boost or maybe aimed shot for another possible on the move shot til might be viable? Shot priority is HM, Arcane, multi and SSting or KS to finish the mob off tho Ssting aint the best but only one I have up. It's dead by then and I do tend to move around a lot so SS isnt getting used unless it's against an elite or whatever. I figure that'll change at when I attempt some serious 5 mans or whatever that can kill me-then I'll be using SS. I keep thinking I should be using the damn shot, lol. 4pts in Frenzy is sufficient yes?
Any and all help appreciated as always on gear, gems or which dance is the best-thx Agio

P.S In another post I noticed you referenced using Kill Shot as a priority, did I misread or am I missing something given the activation @ 20% or less?

At level 79 I would go for Beast Mastery, then 1/5 Improved Aspect of the Hawk at . Glyph of the Hawk should be your final glyph.
Based on your style of play, I think your build is good. Get used to using Steady Shot though – it's a staple of Beast Mastery.
Apart from having thrown Massacre on a lvl 69 blue, I don't see any glaring problems with your gear. Let's not worry about it too much until you hit .
You seem to be heading in a good direction, so just take my advice on the talent choices, hit , and then we'll reconnect at that time.
…and yes, Kill Shot is #1 in the priority. It may not always be availabe, but when it is, it Trumps all.

Okay, good those were the last two talents I'd pretty much settled on, was debating between one more in culling the herd and Hawk. I had been using SS, probably haven't been challenging myself enough so will be using it much more presently. As always thanks for your input and time Garwulf. Given everything you've got going on I'll be doing my best not to ask the newb questions @ . If I still need my hand held at that point on-line PVP Scrabble or Bingo are options.

P.S. As for Massacre on the L69, ummmm they were having a Blow-out sale at the AH? Sorry, it's the only one I could come up with…

Culling the Herd is a pet talent, so that one's free.
If the price was right on the Massacre scroll, then no biggie. I hope you bought a few then if they were that cheap.

Meant going 5/5 in Frenzy not Culling the Herd but I will not edit my original post and sully my rep as an idiot.
Yeah I did pick up a few. However I will try to find an appropriate item to apply em to. Daggers are so cool

I like daggers myself, but you can't stick Massacre on them. 
As for Frenzy, you really don't need to put 5/5 in there. In fact, the 5th point is more or less a waste. 4/5 grants your pet an % proc rate, which is plenty.
