Hello everyone – greetings from the EU realm of Sporeggar in my first post!
I'd like to ask for some directions/suggestions concerning my current build, available here : http://eu.wowarmory.com/charac…..38;group=2
I've been away for some time and suppose things in the class mechanics changed significantly.
If you have any ideas on how to improve my dps (which is pretty much pathetic atm) – meaning some build tweaking, glyph and gear suggestions, please feel free to submit them here.

Well, if you're really concerned about your DPS, then you should switch to Survival for awhile. Survival is a lot more forgiving than MM at lower gear levels.

Now, if you're comfortable with MM and wish to continue with that spec, then you only need to do one thing; swap your Aimed Shot Glyph for Steady Shot.
Your MM build is perfect for your gear level, so switch those glyphs and you're all set.
It's really up to you how you want to proceed. Survival should provide better DPS for you, but if you're not used to it and find MM to be more comfortable, then you may just as well stay put. You'll be amassing upgrades so quickly, that by the time you get comfortable with SV, MM will be nearly on par in terms of DPS. MM performs better, but only at higher gear levels.
The only way you're going to improve your DPS is to just keep farming the new ICC dungeons. Run each of the heroic versions daily, and the reg versions as often as you can stand them. You'll be clad in ilvl 219-232 in no time, plus you'll amass enough emblems in the process to buy some ilvl 245 emblem gear.
Make sure to get the raid weekly in as well, along with VoA. If you can manage 2pcs of T9 or T10, in addition to some badge gear and ilvl232 heroic items, you'll at least be able to join an ICC PuG and not get booted.
Don't get too discouraged, as you're just simply behind most everyone else in terms of gear. You'll catch up quickly though.

Hey Garwulf, thanks for posting.
I'm definitely comfortable with MM build, I can leash out quite a dps but was just wondering about some ideas for improvement. Yours seem reasonable although does the switching of glyphs mean that I'm to use steady more often? It's been a while since ive raided and most of hc's im doing dont allow me to use it cause the mobs keep dying too fast ^^. So yea I think i should just try it in a more demanding encounter.
So what I am to do is just work on gearing up in ICC… wasn't sure if whatever I have on me is good enough for those since wow-heroes says those are challenging.

Apart from Chimaera, Aimed and Arcane (which you'll eventually drop from your priority), Steady Shot is it. MM has quite a few opportunities to cast steadies, on boss fights at least. The 10% added damage is huge, especially since MM has pretty much 100% uptime on Serpent.
Don't rely on heroics to gauge your DPS. Things die way too quickly to give accurate measurements. VoA is a pretty good test though. Koralaon is the ultimate hunter-friendly fight with which you can see your ideal DPS, and Toravon is a decent measure of your DPS in a more realistic fight… e.g., target switching, movement, etc. Try and get in some VoAs in order to have a feel for where you're at compared with other hunters and dps classes.
