I was doing random battlegrounds last night and just for fun I took along my white ape “Thuk”. While he wasn't much help against those stinky Rogues, Warriors and DKs that infest the bgs, it was fun wreaking havoc with the casters. Having two silences was great. (MM Silencing Shot and ape's Pummel). I even annoyed a few Ret Pallies with him.

LOL did the same thing yesterday, with my ape Tully. It was great seeing the warlock fear spell cast bar go down mid cast… loved it.
I guess it's worth having an assortment of special abilities in your stable so you can swap and change your pet as needs arise. Why can't wolves, hounds or foxes sniff out stealthed rogues or ferals? I love my wolves for PVE but since I only pvp he's getting arthritis!
Could you imagine fido suddenly attacking a target you can't see, breaking his stealth and causing bloody distress to the poor hapless little rogue behind you?
