I dont think Warriors have near enough stuns. *sarcasm*
No, Seriously!!!!! That is sooo annoying! Plus it seems like their intercept/charge abilities have no cooldown! This is the class I have the hardest time against because they charge as soon as I get out into range! I know some people can kite them around an ice trap but I'm not at that level yet and end up getting too close and pummeled or too far and charged. I guess I have to find that perfect range where they can't hit me or charge me.

A warning, even when you do get the perfect spot where they cant charge or pummel you, they can still heroic leap.

Warriors and rogues seem to be the people i have the most issues with cannot seem to get away. i jump they seem to be able to jump a with me. i seem to have a very big love / hate relationship with pvp usally depends on the mood i am in. when the rage starts i have been known to turn the dam game off and go smoke a ciggerette and watch tv for an hour so i can calm down. lol

Some days I get the same way. Usually I don't shut the game off. I go do something like working on some achievements or daily quests.

I was chasing a flag carrier today and went through 7 stuns in a 5 yard distance… he capped. And it wasn't just warriors doing the stunning…
I tend to chase the flag carriers as I can fire from range and the pet us faster than I am. I trust melee classes to distract the protectors… obviously they aren't always able or aren't always inclined… I live in hope! So yeah, sometimes I travell through Stunville… sometimes I get through, sometimes I don't…

This will first sound stupid but when fighting a warrior…you want to be at the range where you can still shoot him, but he cant charge you. At best he will do a heroic leap / and or fear shout to stop you from doing this.
During this close shooting + pet fight you want to have at least 2 pts in entrapment and keep him on the borde of the ice trap. Rotate this trap and snake trap so you can constantly keep him in what I call the “charge deadzone”.
If you are shooting a warrior and you see him attempt to move AWAY from you, youre doing it right. Follow him and keep the range of the “charge deadzone” constantly.
Next is the hard part. He will most likely be an Arms warrior. If he feels hes gettin owned in the charge deadzone he will bladestorm ( which is the spinning move ). If you are rolling with a bird of prey or scorpid pet just disarm him and get in some free hits while he spins without a weapon.
If you dont have a disarm pet you can do one or two things. You can wait about 1 tick of bladestorm ( if your healthy enough ) then hit deterrence OR you can disengage away.
Keep in mind while hes spinning dont try and drop an ice or snake trap…it wont root him and he will just kill the snakes.
Once you get it down only someone with better skill and / or gear with the warrior will beat you. 75% of hunters from my experience panic when they cant get away and they try to get at max range the whole fight. Sometimes you CAN get away with it and kite them but most of the time the fight is going to end up with him sticking to you anyway so try the above tactic.
Note this little guide works better for BM hunters with a spirit beast ( for the heal ).

I need to try my Sprit Beast instead of my Spider. I PvP as BM, and I've recently been having much greater success using some of Gar's macros and especially Tranq Shot. Even had group members commenting on how nice it is to have Tranq going out on our foes and seeing the difference in how fast they die without their buffs.
Question- will having my Spirit Beast staying by my side the whole time for his heal be worthwhile? Can I make it so that it always is cast on me?
I also try to stick near and protect my healers, just sayin'.

I try to nail them with concussive shot first, it seems – could be my imagination, that it greatly limits their ability to leap and sit on me while I send my spider that direction to wrap them up before tossing a freezing trap onto them. That is all of course depending on my ability to hide behind a rock or a tree before they see me.

The problem with a spirit beast is it has no cc ability, other then Intimidation. Yes the heal may keep you up a bit longer, but its not helping to keep the Warrior at the right distance needed to fight them. Since switching to BM and running with a silithid with its web ability, Warrior fights aren’t quite as frustrating for me. Don’t get me wrong, they have not gotten easy, but I do win some fight against them now. Raygar's strategy is pretty much what I do when up against a Warrior.
