I have been exploring PVP the last couple of weeks since raids have been non-existent and I am really starting to like it. I have printed Gar's entire guide for PVP on a Survival spec but am still unclear on what gear sets I should be after. I have 75,000 honor points and 1475 Stone Keeper shards to spend, there was something else but I left my post-it at home.
Recommendations?

Be careful not to grind honor while at the 75K cap. 75K is all you can have at one time, so be sure to spend some of it once you get close, otherwise it just vanishes into the ether.
I'd suggest replacing the lowest ilvl PvE pcs you have with whatever PvP pieces you can afford. If you're still wearing ilvl232 boots, then get the Wrathful boots, etc..
Aside from that, just use which ever items you have that offer the most stats for a given slot. That, and make sure you have a PvP trinket.
Another thing to note is that PvP has a lower hit cap of 165, so keep that in mind when switching out pieces. You can drop 3% of your hit and itemize for attack power or crit, for instance.
