As most of you know I enjoy pvping. Battlegrounds mostly, but I do world pvp when the chance comes up. Last night on my server, Silvermoon City came under attack. Battlegrounds wasn't very busy, so I went to check out what was happening. I found two Paladins wiping out everything in the city, guards, vendors, auctioneers, you name it. The Paladins were a Prot and Healadin. I knew I didn't stand a chance taking them on by myself. So I waited, sitting on the sidelines till more Horde showed up.

I had encountered the Prot Paladin by himself in Wintergrasp and had managed to defeat him. Evidently he felt invincible with a healer backing him as he went about taunting  and spitting on me in between killing things. Eventually a S.Preist and Mage showed up for Horde defense. We went to work on the healer and without his heals, the Prot Pallie went down as well.

The three of us wiped the two Paladins out several times in a row. Then an Alliance Warlock shows up. He's dressed in PvE gear, so we know he is basically a glass cannon. He gets put to the top of our list, followed by the healer and finally the Prot. The three Alliance come storming after our group and again, we make short work of them, even with the teams being even numbers now.

After killing them about half a dozen more times after the Warlock arrives, I get a whisper. ” I see you can't win a fair fight face to face!”. I just about spit my soda on my computer screen laughing. I tell him, “It's pretty pathetic that you have to come over on a Horde alt to whine about this. It was never fair teams, as you came in with a healer at the start of this all when I was solo. Your probably *insert prot paladin name* who is butt sore from when I owned you in WG.”

I got no response back, but the other two members of my group said they got a simalar whisper. It's funny how some people just let it get to them to much when PvPing.

Sounds like they were well and truly p.o. at having their weird idea of 'fun' spoiled. Good for you! The taunting and spitting are, I suppose, to be expected IC if you are on an RP server; but in this case the OOC whining seems to identify him as a kid (or immature adult) just acting his mental age.

I like the phrase 'glass cannon'. My main feels a bit like one of those during Wintergrasp battles! But alliance rules WG in our realm, so the honor points come quickly anyway.

Is Silvermoon City as deserted as Darnassus these days? My belf roguekin has not been back there since before WotLK. Bless her, she's been hanging out in Crossroads for months just so she can call out Echeyakee for me to tame!

Horde has control of Wintergrasp most on the time on my server. Up till about 3 months ago,it was Alliance. Horde finally decided to get organized and now the Alliance only hold WG during the wee hours of the morning when a good portion of the Hord population is off line.

Slilvermoon City is usually pretty busy. Its a big roleply spot for the large belf population. The attack was taking place during a time when lots of people were offline. Most time there are lots of defenders in Silvermoon, thats probably why the Alliance group chose to attack at the time they did. Undercity and Thunderbluff are usually pretty much deserted on my server.
