This is a bit of a rant and a bit of a warning. Like any of the previous patches there are some classes that are quite overpowered at the moment. These include:

(1) Mages (Don't go solo against these guys you won't win unless they are quite bad)

(2) S.Priests (These were a problem before the patch, they aren't any better now.)

(3) Druids (Same as above.)

The one thing I've been doing to counter their massive opening damage is:

1- Deterrence at the beginning (most blow their cooldowns without realizing that it isn't doing anything) with a KC

2- Intimidation once deterrence wears off, SS, KC, Feign Death

3- Scatter Shot to interrupt their next spell, Pop BW, Start spamming Arcane until KC is available again and finish with Kill Shot.

I usually win the fight as long as I'm fighting someone close to my lvl. (Sucks getting jumped by lvl 79 when I'm 71).

I think that the other classes haven't adjusted to fighting agains the “new” hunter. I noticed that before they used to pretty much ignore our pets and come straight for us but with the new KC bitting down on their behinds now they can't ignore the pet as much anymore. I'm really enjoying my BM hunter and finally had enough gold to try dual talents and I chose MM. I can't say I'm too happy with MM because it seems like I'm always running out of focus (I'm pretty sure this is due to the fact that I'm new to the MM tree and still need to learn the works). Changing the subject a little, is it me or are rogues doing way more damage now? There are many times when a rogue will stun me and kill me before it wears off. This is really unfair since it's almost a guaranteed kill for the rogue and there's nothing we can do once we're stunned since they took our BW and turned it into poop. What tricks are you guys using against rogues?

I'm finding that I'm able to get the jump on them quite a bit, since we are now able to track multiple mob types. When they do manage to catch me, I usually will trinket and immediately Deterrence, followed by Disengage. Once I get range, then I'm usually fine. I still have master's call, intimidation, scatter shot, traps, conc shot… If I have no trinket, then I just hold on throughout the stun, Master's Call + Wing Clip + Disengage.

However, I am sitting at 1300 resilience… that may have something to do with my ability to survive the initial burst.

I'm loving being able to track multiple targets. Humanoids, Beasts and Hidden is alway up when I'm PvPing. As for Rogue getting the jump on me, if they do I pretty do the same as Gar, trinket/disengage away. I have a disengage/wing clip macro so that they have an even harder trime trying to get me again. If I'm low on health, I usually masters call to clear any slowing effects and then rocket boots outta there.
