Hey everyone, new to the forums here.. anyway, currently Im running feral/MM at 1600 in 2s and most of the time I get trained to death if we cant score a kill in the first minute, anyway I was wondering how much resil. the higher end hunters gem for 2s. Im sitting at 4.2k resil. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

A lot depends upon what sort of communication you and your partner have — mainly with well timed CC’s. MM Hunter / Resto Druid should be a very viable combo, provided you perform well timed switches and your healer is on the ball with roots, cyclone, dispels, etc.
You might try giving up some of your resil in favor of crit. 4.2k is very high — especially for a team where you’re the sole DPS. If you think you guys are playing well together and communicating, then maybe give up some resil in favor of crit so that you can drop some more big numbers on your opponents each match. It could make the difference between a killing blow and a near-kill.
Update: I just noticed you mentioned running with a Feral. I'd go BM if I were you. For double-dps it flat-out rocks. Also, be sure to get this, or the Ruthless version if you can: http://www.wowhead.com/item=61033
Macro it with Bestial Wrath and not much will survive that assault, provided you and your partner are focusing the same target.
