This may change with rated battlegrounds coming, but currently I think that there should be different battlegrounds for people that do arena a lot. I don't enjoy getting walked all over by “Mr. I Live In Arena” and can kill you just by looking at you. It's especially frustrating since you can't get the same level of gear as them. I think that they should have a different set up battlegrounds or can't wear there highest level of arena gear in standard battlegrounds. Like I said though, this may change with the coming of rated battlegrounds.

As I understand it, the best BGers will have access to similar gear as that of the best arena players. This bodes well for hunters, as we've always been an under-represented arena class that on the other hand, does quite well in the wide open spaces of a BG.

I totally am looking forward to any changes in BGs. As a fledgling in the BG area, I have started to spread my wings some. Mainly from the helps of many of you.
There are times when you see an arena guy, and I can't even get dismounted. It is very frustrating, i'm with ya on this one Takaas.
(PS I went BM, and well I'm even enjoying it much more =D)

BM is a great choice in PvP, just not my personal style. In the heat of battle I sometimes forget to heal my animal buddy (I know, FOR SHAME!) MM and SV, it doesnt hurt as much as if you lose your pet as BM. Not that I'm saying BM can't fight without their pet, they lose a good chunk of their damage with their pet gone though.

well to be honest I don't fair so well in BG's with my druid. So I think I have that same problem about healing Kiara.
Def 2 different BG style's when you know you have back-up compared to rolling solo.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread again… but I like reading the old stuff too, it's often always relevant…
I have Mend Pet macroed into to shots where there is suddenly no target… has already died, for example…
eg:
/cast [@target,exists] Kill Shot; Mend Pet
I also have a handy dandy heal pet macro on it's own key, but this way, Fido gets some love even when I don't mean it.
