I was looking into trying out BM as my PVP spec when I noticed that there's a talent and a glyph that affects the cooldown of Bestial Wrath. They are http://www.wowhead.com/spell=56830 and http://www.wowhead.com/spell=53264. My question is, which one applies its time reduction first?
Depending on which one is applied first, the cooldowns would be:
Longevity 1st: 64 sec cooldown
Glyph 1st: 70 sec cooldown
Also, does the cooldown time begin as soon as the buff is applied or as soon as it wears off?

Glyph + Talents = 70 sec CD.
The cooldown begins as soon as the buff's applied, giving you 60 secs between BW.

Nothing but good can come from having a shorter wait time for BW!

Since BW doesn't share a cd with the trinket, I use both. Has saved me more than once.

Ooh, does BW really break a CC? Just on your pet, or does it also transfer to you with TBW?
Generally if I get caught up close in a TB battle I don't have the time or awareness of what's happening to conduct an experiment – apart from 'Talk With Spirits', and that one always works well.

It breaks it for both you and your pet. I loves it. BW is mai preshussss. I luvs mai preshussss.

Yes TBW breaks the CC. But since patch 4.02 its mainly a shitty ability considering its nerfed to the point which allowed warriors to op any BM hunter. Simply put: The Beast Within used to also give you 10 sec + immunity to all cc anyone could throw at you. For losing this immunity I do blame 90% of hunters who respecced to Surv and MM when WOTLK came out for simple reason Bm was nerfed back than to hell.
I am telling you this as really old Bm hunter player. Playing the game from the start and really do know what I am talking about and doing with my Bm hunter. Was sticking to it even in worst times of Bm hunters ofc WOTLK. This one is not much better. And believe me I did have damn good fun kicking buts of MM and SUrv hunters with my Bm, simply because I do know my class and spec and was sticking with it even through the worst times.
I will recommend you this. If you do PvP you do Bm. If you have to go any other spec go MM if you are in damn good group which also knows what they are doing so you can simply set behind them and slowly throw out your dps at HORDE, yes I am Ally and frankly I cant understand why would anyone go play horde haha. Watch out which defensive ability you will use at every time. The Beast WIthin/Bestial Wrath will break every cc used on you even Disarm. But dont waste it. Make sure you buy Trinket which also breaks Cc and remember to use your Master’s Call.
For example. Mages. they freeze you in place but you can still shoot. Master’s Call. Imidiately following with Disengeage. Frozed again. Trinket. Ice Block you: The BEast WithinThat would also be your finnishing move. When you use The Beast WIthin you should know your shots and Kill Command spend much less focus, so spam Arcane Shot and Kc for as long as your The Beast Within lasts. If you spend you rfocus make sure your Fervor is available, keep it safe till that point. soon you rill see mages health gone

Rogues. Stun Trinket. Poisons slow you, Master’s call Disengeage, Concussive shot ofc Hunter’s mark should be on them immediately. If they are SUB Scatter shot, Wing CLip, Disengeage, Blinded for example The Beast Within rogue dead. YOu cant fail. Just practice
Even with this nerfed The Beast Within which I still fight to bring us Immunity back considering that change and it was DAMn huge change was never announced (words of Game Master) I found no other class except feral druids (DAMN MANGLE) and Warriors hard to kill. Everything else just drops dead around me Ok Healers are different story but they can be handled too if they are not damn holy palas.
This is just my view of Bm hunters and trust me dont ask for more than we have (except The Beast Within Immunity) cuzz with slighest change we will again be OP class and spec as we was Pre Wrath and nerf will come again and if that happens, that will be my last RAGE quit for sure. Stick with your Bm (Spirit Beast is a must have, hehe LOVE MY LOQUE!!!) learn it and dont change it for anything. Once you start to realize at what you are doing you will enjoy it 10 times more than you do now no matter how much you like it. Wish me luck for bringing back Immunity (simply just asking for something that we already had).

I'm a recent BM convert in PvP thanks to Gar drilling it in me how great it is in PvP. 
I've been using a spider for PvPing. While Spirit Beasts are great (love having the heal), I found that they get cc'd a lot and often times its when BW is on cooldown. With my spider I have the bullheaded talent, so if he gets cc'd I have two ways of breaking him out, BW or bullheaded.
Since switching to BM in PvP, a lot of the fun has come back into it for me. MM is great and all in PvP, but its more of a sniper spec. You need lots of support, people watching your back so you can burn stuff down. BM has much more utility for fights against stuff like Warriors, Rogues and Mages. I'm still learning to PvP as BM, but things have definately improved for me since switching over.

If there's some reason you like using the spider, then cool… but you may want to go with a Silithid instead. It's basically the same thing, but it also gives you the health boost.

A long time ago, when Darrwyn was a young troll (before be was transformed into a cranky goblin by the transboobulator in Booty Bay) he levelled as a BM. I did a few battlegrounds and such, but didn't really get into it that much. He usually used Webster, his spider as his pvp sidekick and did okay at best. When he reached 
, he respecced to Survival, in PVE and PVP. When levelling for Cataclysm, he reinvented himself as a Marksmanship hunter in both forms of the game, but never really got going.
Then recently, Garwulf (how I wish he were an honorable member of the Horde!) released his latest BM PVP guide and the newly reincarnated Darrwyn (36, Moon Guard) decided to give it a go. Let me tell ya, he's a convert, so much so he says “Phooey!” to any suggestions of running a PVE dungeon. He went from one or two kills a bg (but always a fair bit of damage!) to being up near the top of the board in kills and damage, and manages to hold his own against all comers. He doesn't always win, and when a second assailant joins in his chances of victory shorten considerably, but the newly found enjoyment of pvp (coinciding with some pvp gear) is mainly due to Beastmastery! At level 36, he is eagerly awaiting L38 for some upgraded gear and already has over 1000 HP in the kitty.
Cogsprocket (the original Darrwyn) also converted to BM and has an absolute blast! His pet of choice is a Chimera. Let me tell ya, Froststorm Breath is da bomb! I ran one bg with one of the spirit cats (I can't tell them apart… shame, I know) but the chimera (in my opinion) is much handier. He's (Cog) saving up HP for a PVP weapon (probably a gun or crossbow, being a goblin) and is slowly building his gear. While he's mainly in Bloodthirsty gear now, there is a sprinkling of Viscous and a whole lotta fun ahead of him.
