Just recently got back into PvP since Cata launched. Had been too busy trying to gear for PvE meh…. So I spend the last couple weeks tearing up BG's, and last night join a 3v3 arena team. Had NEVER even seen an arena before! Me as MM, arcane mage, and holy pally. Terribly fun, I'm probably hooked even tho I got my arse handed to me way more times then we won lol. I cant decide what pet is most helpful tho. Must have run all of my obvious pvp pets atleast twice last night (and a raid pet or 2 just for the hell of it) and couldnt really tell. So looking for any tips, which pets do you use in Arenas? Should I be worrying about my own ass or should I be bringing my dragonhawk to boost the mages dmg? I have been sticking pretty much to only my wasp in BG's but im thinking he isn't going to do much good in Arenas =/

Have a look at this post: Hunter PvP Basics: Pets
Strategy is going to depend a lot upon your team composition, but read some of the other guides linked near the bottom of that pet guide. The macros guide I posted today may help you some.

Gar you rock! The macro guide looks great, Thank you. Always learn something from your guides but Spell Pen?!?! Who knew! lol. Think that's going to be the most useful bit O' info I have seen yet. Can't wait to hit the Arena again with this new enlightenment =)

I got a question and I think it should fit in this post.
With the new changes in 4.2 spell penetration will still be good for hunters?

What specifically are you referring to? I'm not aware of any changes to spell pen.
Your vague forum posts are leading me to believe you're just sapping the site for some link juice. Prove me otherwise and contribute to the discussion, otherwise you and your overblown forum sig are getting 86'ed.
