this makes sure you target a player, and not a pet.
AT Molten Front specifically, there are usually flagged people roaming around hoping to be attacked accidentally. Now, is there a macro to make sure that I don’t accidentally target and attack them?

I can't be certain, but you might be lucky with:
/targetenemy [noplayer]
