I meant to have the other Celestial Steed Contest Entries posted by now, but I had been buried with last weekend’s birthday party planning. Our little man turned 3 on Sunday.
Then, no sooner was that over with, I find myself coming down with some horrible bug. Apart from a few hours, I’d been in bed from about 11pm Sunday night until about 1pm today. Good news is, I feel like I’m on the mend now.
So, now that I’m feeling half way human again, I intend on publishing the remaining Celestial Steed stories for you all to enjoy.
I’ve got Boz’s all queued up and ready to go, so his will be the first of a couple runner-up stories to be published. I really liked his entry because I felt he did a masterful way of telling a story based upon normal every day events in WoW. He also took a slightly different approach to the lore behind the Celestial Steed. Instead of creating a back story for the majestic creature, of which there is only one, he instead opted for a more true-to-game approach. In his story, people are popping up everywhere with them, much like in the game.
Boz’s was by far the shortest of the entries in consideration for the top prize, which is a testament to his writing ability.
Gratz little man! Hope you feel better too big man.
