I've seen people post the total damage done by each player in the chat window but I don't know how they do it. Is it an addon or is it built-in? If it's build in, how do you use it? I've also seen them display the total damage done on a boss by each player. How does it know exactly when you start attacking the boss so that it only counts that damage? Can you tell to deep track of other stuff such as trash mobs or overall damage in an instance or overall damage over a certain amount of time? I'm just wondering exactly how it works. It's an AddOn called Recount. It's configurable for all sorts of things. Most people set it to monitor overall damage done.
